When lhart & marygod post monthly deals at CVS, I can't find some of them posted in the stores or in either weekly or monthly ads. How do I know (you know) about these deals and how do I prove them to CVS clerks if the items don't ring up as you listed?

Is there another way to find the CVS deals other than the weekly ads and the monthly deals book?

I have found all the ones on here in the ad....or monthly flyer! maybe your ad has some pages missing that happened to me on saturday from the ad i grabbed while i was at the store it was missing 6 pages.....what are you looking for maybe we can help and tell you what page it should be on

Once the deals are in the system, they are in the ads. I'm not sure where they are leaked from, if that's what you are looking for... i.e. the ads before they are released. But, once they are up and running, the only way to prove they are there is to show the ad to the cashier/mgr.

This was two/three weeks ago. I went to two CVS stores and couldn't find anything about some of the items listed in the AFC threads. It was just a few items, but it made me wonder if there was another source(printed) of deals that are available.

GG..i noticed this with marys post..she was getting ecbs back for glucerna..well i didnt see it in my sales ad..and she posted a picture of her ad and it was different than mine..so i go to cvs.com and sure enough i look through the ads for california and it is a different ad than mine..so apparently there are different sales for different parts of the country..which stinks!

That would explain this recent situation and probably other times I couldn't find something on special.

You are correct, CVS ads are based on where you live. While most of the items in the ads are active across the country there are usually some variations in the deals.

My theory is:
Corporate sends out "suggested" CVS ads to the district manager. The district manager talks with the store managers in his district and the items are selected for their region/store. Several times I have found different items in the store ad that is 5 miles from my local CVS.

When I worked at "Woolworths" years ago that is what the store did.

I think that is the way it is at a lot of stores! Look at the differences in the instore sales & clearance at Target! Each store is different! What sells in one place might not sell somewhere else,

I know that grocery store ads and specials are by districts. Even here in NC the ad can be different 30 miles away - that is why when you go online to see an ad you need to give your zip code.

I did not realize that it was so with drug stores. Therefore, if we don't see it in the monthly book, in the store/newspaper ad, or advertised on the shelf we can't count on it being as listed here on AFC.

The AFC list is a "heads up" as to what might be in the stores. ?????????
