So I'm new to the CVS scene and am loving it. Still learning tho. I've read most of the posts about how to "work" coupons there. But one question I have that might have already been answered...
Can you use the same coupon-that has a code-more than once? Not in the same transaction, on different trips perhaps? Or are they "tracked" on your card once they are used?

I reuse them! I have never had a problem with it. I stack like crazy usually! As long as the cashier is nice, I can make small talk and it is all good.

technically you are only suppose to use them once..but they are not tracked on your card so you can use them over and over..just dont try to do too many in one trip..

I actually just asked CVS customer service this question and they said that they can only be used once.

However I have frequently used them 2-3 times in different trips. I really don't understand how the intention is that you use them once, but they are generic codes that the system allows multiple uses. Seems odd to me, but that was the aswer I just got.

My theory is, if they *really* only wanted us to use them once, then they wouldn't let us. They would electronically "attach" each one we use to our EC number in the system to not allow the use of one code, multiple times... just like they do with the Quarterly ECB's that we print. That's my thoughts, anyway~

I agree with that completely...but that's not the story they are handing out LOL

I am sooo new to CVS and trying so hard to learn how to shop there. Can you tell me what you mean by use the same coupon with a code? What coupon is that? Lisa

The coupons like $4 off $20, $2 off $10. Sometimes they have a bar code to scan and sometimes its a code the cashier enters.
