This promo showed up on my receipt. One of teh local stores here was selling the mesh buff puff for .99 instead of the ridiculously advertised price of $2.99.

I called the 800 number and they were not aware of the promo. They tried to tell me everything except for what I wanted to know.

Anybody know when this promo ends? 10/31 or weekly or Nov. Did not see it listed anywhere.

I know that there was a buy $15 get 5 ecb last week but I am not sure if it goes on all month. My store does not have the signs up anymore.

CVS had this promo last week spend $15 get $5 ecb. It ended on saturday. I think this week it is 3/$9.99. A lot of people were buying the cute overnight bag that was $14.99.

yes i bought a bag and some gels and spays but i do believe it ended sat. though

I wish I would have seen those overnight bags last week, but I'm still going to get some for gifts this week.

sunday i was still getting the $5 ecb's for spending $15...i presonally like the robes, but they are not at all stores, i have a few of the overnight, the cosmetic cases and the robes SUPER christmas gifts. there is a poster in the window at most of the cvs stores i have been to saying "spend $15 on essance of beauty products get $5 ecbs *excludes mesh sponge, limit three offers" so if you spend $45 you get $15 ecb's hope this helps......

I think I saw this stuff, but didn't realize it was on the ECB special. I'll have to try to check it out tomorrow. Lots of gifts to buy in this fam and last 2 years I've done gift cards. Got to get my act together.

I got some bags today and got the $5!! Yippee, these are GREAT gifts!

dh refuses to give gift cards b/c he thinks we will do a better job of getting more bang for our buck . if i give someone a $25 gift card they will probably get $25 worth of stuff with it. if i use the same $25 gc i can probably atleast get them $75 worth of stuff.

Grace, I agree with your hubby! I get much better/bigger things for less money so it seems like we spend more than we do. If I used the same budget and got GCs, it would look pretty sad under our tree, ! I came home yesterday with bags and bags from cvs with 3 totes 14.99 each, filler items from Target for stocking stuffers roughly $15 worth, and various store bags with 4 7.99 polly pockets sets, 1 4.99 set, 1 7.98 car set, PLUS some Similac and spent less than $12 OOP. Not to mention the candy bar fillers from cvs that are MY treat! If it wasn't for this site, we wouldn't be this far ahead already for gifts!!

me too...i got 3 bags and one gingerbread lotion for my daughter a and got 15.00 ECB backs!! i love these for xmas gifts!!

I quite agree with the theory that I can spend a little and give a big gift. Been doing it for years, girls. However, the last couple of years I have worked at a school and been responsible for the Scrip program - selling gift cards to parents and raising funds for school through it. So...... when in the crunch time, I said "Why not?" So I did. It delighted my GKs to get Gap cards, etc. One of my GDs told me what she got for her's and she did Grandmama proud with her deals!

Anyway, I would rather go the more personal route and gift something I personally select for a gift and have done this for years. Also, I have bought gifts for my large family throughout the year in order to maximize my gifting dollars. It is growing more difficult to find energy to do this, though. Too, I am finding it harder and harder to get personalized gifts for my family as I age and as they "mature."

But..... some of these CVS deals, etc. are too good to pass up so I may be passing up the gift card buying this year.

I bought 2 robes and 1 travel bag and only got 14.99 credit. I called CS and they said it was because I used ecbs. I tried to politely to tell her 3 times that that should not matter in regards of getting ecb credit. She connected me with someone at the next level who reiterated that unless it is OOP money no ecbs are issued!

auburn, that sounds silly, I would call another CVS. I did multiple transactions today to stock up and to use alot of ecbs up and I got all the ecbs I expected back. My MIL and I had a trunkful of stuff so I think they are giving you a line of bull. I'm guessing it's the robes, since the bags were 14.99, I did 3 bags (3different tranactions to use the 4/20 & 2/10) and bought one of the small 1.99 peppermint shower gel (or something close to that, !) and got my $15 ecbs back.

what a load! i never have more than $1 oop and i still got the ecb's. i just love it when the people on here know more about a stores policy than THEY do! return them all and re buy them!!

what exactly are you guys doing to get these products free/nearly free? Surely you're not paying sticker price!!
