HEY!

My family has a friend that is a missionary in El Salvador. Has been for over 20 yrs. My dad and I have visited a couple of times to do mission work with them. Health care is horrible over there. One of our friends has cancer and can't get chemo in the hospital b/c the wait is too long. This happens everyday.

My dad is making a trip to El Salvador within the next month to help with some mission trips into some remote areas. If anyone is willing to donate their glucose monitors you are getting, please let me know. He is going to bring the ones I get there. My parents are going to buy the strips. I have no idea how much shipping would be to me? Please pm me if you are willing to donate.

That is a great idea. My BIL is also a medical missionary to Guatemala every year and my 15 year old nephew (who has type 1 diabetes) goes and mans the blood glucose screening stations. They say people will walk 20 plus miles to see a doctor with no shoes. Sad I think what your parents are doing is great. I hope they can find some themselves and use ecb and the 4/20 and 2 2/10s to get lots of free strips. Are you teaching them the ways of the cvs game???

What CVS magazine is the coupon in. I went to CVS and got the magazine with the pumpkins on the front and there is no 50 dollar coupon in there

The sale brochure is in the back of the store at the pharmacy counter. It is a blue book that has the title Managing and Preventing Diabetes. There is $160 worth of coupons. Several for glucose monitors.

That's great thanks for sharing. I'm going to go get some and donate them to local nursing homes. Since I have started couponing I not only have saved tons of money but have gotten tons of nice stuff to donate to good causes.
