Help Me Help My Husband!!!! Ok, we live nowhere near a CVS but my husband works near one. So I sent him to get some SoyJoy and Tums etc this morning on his way to work. Well he got the SoyJoy and the Scope( and the ECB's) but the sugar free Tums didn't print 2 ECB's like it should have. Instead it said he was 4.49 towards the 20 dollars needed to get the $10. What is the best way to make this right? He was peeved because it didn't work and they didn't take the coupon off. He plans to go back this afternoon for toothpaste and more Soy Joy. Marianne

He said it was the only sugar free they had and the 80 count. He read the label to me and I told him to ask in the store when he goes back. I won't see products or receipts until he gets home tonight. Maybe he can figure something out--can Bryan do an online tutorial for CVS husbands? Marianne

I had a similar experience this weekend. I was supposed to get $20 in ECB for buying $40 in Tylenol and it only printed $10. I asked to speak with the manager and she tried to figure out why it didn't print, and finally ended up giving me $10 in cash from the register. I wonder if it's b/c I bought the $40 worth over a period of 2 days? I wouldn't think that would matter and neither did the manager. Anyways, she took care of it. I would be sure to either speak with a manager or call the corp. office.

The regular tums go in another ECB deal, the sugar free however have a deal where it is the price of the product back in ECB (however it is a specific size).. I feel they did it this way just to confuse everyone... I do not have the ad in front of me or I would say the exact deals... Just need to be aware some tums will go towards one deal and others go towards the other deal... I am sure with this being said, some of the registers are also screwed up and someone didnt realize they were separate deals...

I got confused with the Tylenol deal this past Saturday. I got the 150 count and the 100 count to equal the $20 to get the $10 ECB back. It didn't print. I bought over $23 in Tylenol. I called the mgr after I got home and saw it hadn't worked. He got the flyer and asked a few questiona. He said the 150 count didn't work for the deal. I told him I'd bring it back. I hate to do that, but I really didn't need the Tylenol at this moment but thought I'd get it since it will keep. However, when I go back - tomorrow hopefully - I plan to see if he will still honor it and give me the $10. If not I will see if he will giveme the $10 if I get the right stuff and swap it out. I don't know if the deal will still be on or not, though. The way my head has been acting since "the fall" I have used lots of Tylenol. ![]()

bryan-the cvs expert says they have to be 80 ct surgar free tums ex, so check that part out first. also he said don't be afraid to return an item if need be, its YOUR $$$. i know there have been a couple of times the ecb's didn't print out for me when i first started cvsing and when i called customer service they just added the ecb's to my card no questions asked, and i printed from home to avoid having to go buy a pack of gum just to get them to print off.

He finally got home and this is what we ended up doing. The Sugar Free ones did ring up as part of the spend 20 get 10 ECB. I told him to continue buying what I had coupons until he reached 20. He did, we got the 10, and I am calling it good. All in all, we spent oop approx. 30 dollars and we got 20 ECB's. Marianne

I am so in awe of you girls and your couponing husbands! Mine would use the coupons, but he'd also throw about $100 worth of other crap in the basket that he thinks we need!! Can't risk him going.
