My CVS will no longer let me stack the CVS $/$ coupons. They did let me use more than 1, but they added the total purchase $210, and allowed me the following; $15/75, $15/75, $10/$50 and $2/10, if you add up the totals $75, $75, $50 and $10 it comes to $210. Bummer. They said it was their managers new policy due to a memo from corprate office. Think I'll try a different CVS and find out what happens.

I knew this would happen soon- so many people started doing this, and going overboard, it was bound to draw attention to it- Hey CVS was losing a lot of money by us "couponers" stacking so many. I am sad it is gone, but don't blame CVS one bit.

See, I am so confused (even after reading all the stickied articles) that I haven't even tried. It's great for people to save money and all, but when you do go overboard, you draw a lot of attention to the situation and when that happens, all the company can do is look at their gains and losses. Reminds me of when that Gerber Target coupon came out and it was great at first, but a lot of people were going crazy that it drew so much attention, most Target's stopped taking the coupon. Great for everyone while it lasted though!

They sent out SO many x/xx in one weekend I kind of thought this would happen I don't blame them one bit, though. I still love the 4/20 and 2/10s even. I know CVS is pricey but it is so much more convenient than a big store like walmart, so the 4/20 offsets the cost so I can have the convenience.

| if you use your ecb with your mfg coupons and just one $4/$20 cvs coupon it can still work out to your benefit.....you don't need all of the cvs coupons to get your oop less than $1....I've been doing it every week. You just have to be a little bit more creative with your trips. I figured a while back that cvs would stop the stacking because of the amount of money they were losing and the number of people stacking. I started making my trips with only the $4/$20....and sometimes not even using that one. I often don't even need any cvs coupons, just my mfg coupons and the ecb.... | ang, can you give an example of what coupons you used and what you bought to make the $4/20 bring it down to less than $1 oop. I have done this once or twice but, to be honest, my mind is drawing a blank in the creativity dept these days! It's been 7 mo and I still have baby brain! |

I haven't gone through the ad yet (yesterday was busier than normal), and sometimes I visit CVS up to 10 times a week....so I don't have any examples off the top of my head, but here is what I usually keep in mind: ~I figure everything out before I go to the store and clip all my coupons together ~I take advantage of their crt coupons and combine them with my mfg coupons to get overage many times (a few weeks ago I have a crt that was for a free benefiber product wyb one...up to $12.99...well I used that one and then used 2 $2/mfg coupons on top of that so it was a really good deal) ~I take advantage of their BOGO using 2 mfg coupons for the items (example last week was Revlon, I had $2/mfg coupons and a $2/crt coupon...I bought eye shadow that was $4.49~~for the first transaction I had overage because I used (2) $2/mfg coupons and my CVS $2/crt coupon)...each transaction after that I was only paying $.49 even though $4.49 was part of my $20 total. ~take advantage of BOGO mfg coupon combined with a $$ off coupon...a few weeks back I used the Loreal Vive BOGO with a $1/1 coupon...$10 was added to my total to get it up to $20 ($4.99 each) but $6 was deducted in coupons ~~I always save my "frees" to get me up to $20 if I need something extra...... ~~some of the recent fillers I use to get my total up~~~$1/Contrex Liter of Water ($1.49), $2/Kashi (crackers are $2.99 at my store), $1/SoyJoy (1.29)....$1/johnson product (use this on buddies $.99 or other bar soap $1.59) Those are just some examples~~HTH

on babycenter there was a coupon for johnson's soothing naturals for $2 and the balm was on sale 2.99 last week. I have printed out my entire stack of 2/10. I love that coupon! I use one every time I go in. I always try to combine with the pharmacy 2/10 if they will let me.

You are all right. It has only been recently that we had so many to stack. My CVS is good about taking expired CVS coupons and the $4/$20 was my favorite for a long time. I would go everyday at lunch. This weeks add was a little blah.
