Nova Max Monitor - Major Money maker

I know this must have been posted already, so sorry if it's a repeat.

The Nova max glucose meter is onsale for $29.99 and earns you $20 ecb. There is a coupon in the cvs diabetes book for $50 off the Nova Max...you can get 5 per card so you stand to make $100 ecb for $0 oop

Wow- although i hesitate to do this type of deal, because this is something that would REALLY benefit someone else- I am not diabetic, nor do I know anyone who is. I would hate to clear the shelf when someone else could truly need it.

Where would you donate something like this if I were to get one?

When my dad died we donated all his unused testing supplies to a homeless mission...but that did include strip with some of his brand new monitors (sometimes they do free monitor deals if you buy the strips so he had several stockpiled).

I bought 3 of these this morning (one at three different stores). because of the coupon, i only ended up spending $12 total in ECBs and paid less than $5 total in tax ...

I got $60 back in ECBs just from the Nova Max's, not to mention all the others I got back for other deals.

I'm up to $115 total ECBs on just my main card! (I have one for my husband and mom also which have additional ECBs not added in that total)

Since I have 3 cards, if I do the 5 limit on each for the Novas, I'll MAKE $300 !!!! ($20 x 5 for each card x 3 cards)

How do I get a copy of the "diabetes book"? Is it back by the pharmacy, or do they mail it to you?

I just ran up to CVS. I can't find the coupon. I found a diabetic folder but there wasn't a coupon in it. Where can I find the coupon? Thanks

Here's what it looks like ...

The store that I found them at had them sitting in its own little holder on the pharmacy counter.

I'm confused -

If it's on sale for $29.99 and the coupon is for $50 off...it would be free, right?

Then you get $20 ecb...

OH!!!! Ok, $20 times 5 different CVS cards...= $100.

I am officially CVS CRAZY...after reading this post, I decided to venture out, kiddos in bed, hubby in garage.

I went to FIVE...yes FIVE cvs' and had no luck whatsoever with the coupons, some stores still have plenty of monitors left, but no coupons.

I will have to try some cvs' near DS school in the morning.

Wish me luck

I went to two CVS stores tonight, but neither one had the book. They both looked at me like I was nuts too.

My DF and I went to the 24 hour one- no luck!

Did get some good deals. They have a peelie - 2 dollars off two 2liters of Dr. pepper with the purchse of any bag of candy!

So we got a .99 bag of candy corn and the two liters. Total of about 1.50. Not too bad. Now I am exhausted!

i love it when these go on sale..both of my parents are diabetics..i have started a collection of all the different blood meters for them so that if some strips go on sale they will be able to use them..blood strips are so ridiculously expensive which is why they give these things away for free!

Even if you are not planning on doing "the deal" there are some coupons on healthier food for diabetics in the book. There is also a $50 coupon on another meter, so if you use a different brand or need a high value manu q for stacking then that might help someone...don't know the cost of that meter, though.
