General CVS Question I was wondering if anyone just shops for general stuff at CVS or if they only go for ECB's. I've never shopped at CVS before because the closest one is 30 minutes away. But if I can stack coupons I would think for stuff like formula that I could get it pretty cheap or at least at a good price with just using the cvs coupons. Can anyone give me any insight? ![]()

I always shop for the ecb deals~~but I also make sure to include the general stuff that I can buy if I have CVS coupons to use. If your CVS lets you stack coupons and you have the right mfg coupons you can get out of there still spending pennies without having ecb. I've done it several times. I wouldn't shop for general stuff without CVS coupons and Mfg coupons because their stuff is just too expensive.

You don't have to have ecb to do the stacking. I only do ecb deals if I will make money, something that is free I can donate to charity, or if it is something I know I will use. I got out of there with a TON of stuff the other day and by stacking all the way from 15/75 and using q's I got it down to $2!!! Here is the glitch: if you can't stack, you have just basically wasted a LOT of time, but the good news is you can just pay for it and return the items if you are too embarrassed to stop the transaction or too frustrated to figure it out. If you get ANY good formula checks, they are a great way to end up getting stuff for little or nothing b/c formula is great filler when you need it. CVS is not that much higher than walmart or other places on the formula and with the 4/20 and 2/10 that is floating around that negates the small difference and gets you more stuff. I had an $8 formula check and $3 formula q and I could have gone to walmart and gotten the formula for $3. Instead, I went to cvs. I got the formula, a coke 2 liter (dangers of shopping thirsty) and 2 playtex sippys for $6. $3 more for 2 sippies and a coke...great deal to me. The sippies are over $3 each at walmart.

I buy the majority of my formula at CVS when it's on sale. With all of the CVS coupons out there plus manu coupons and checks, it's a great deal!
