I am not an avid shopper at CVS because, quite frankly, the one nearest to my house sucks. But, I keep seeing posts and such that have "i got a GC". Can you please explain how you get the gift cards? Because if it's an easy process, then I might start going out of my way to find a good CVS

There is a stickie in the CVS forum about how to do this. Basically, you just need to have the amount of the GC ($10, 15, 25, etc) in manuf. coups for other items. Then, with those items and the GC, have enough ECB and email coups to cover the entire amount up to the GC amount (ie the amount of the manuf. coups). give the cashier the emails, ecb and crt's first. Then, the manuf. coups... and boom, should give you a GC for little, if any, oop! HTH

Ok, I am a huge cvs shopper and I don't bother with the rolling ecb into gift card. I don't see a big point in it for me personally b/c with two babies I can always use dipes, wipes, or formula (and cvs will always have at least one of those on sale), so I have no need to convert the ecbs into gift cards. I don' t think I could figure it out either! If you do happen to get an Rx coupon in the paper, take cvs up on the gift card deal...it's great money to get your feet wet with.

I am the same way! With my GC's, I combine the manufacturer coupons with the cvs coupons to make my dollar stretch as far as I can make it. Tonight, I got 9 80 count wipes CVS brand for $5.51. That is .61 each...what a deal. I love CVS. It is worth trying to figure it out.

yea..i dont really have a need to roll over my ecbs either cause i am always having to buy formula or diapers so mine never even get close to expiring..

I have done the roll into a GC 2 x now- I did better the first time than i did the second time. For me it is not about the ECB expiring, it is so that I can spend money at other stores and not be limited to CVS. I bought Visa gift cards- there is a 3.95 activation fee that you pay when you check out, but for me that is fine. I now have $25 I can spend anywhere that accepts Visa. I wanted to learn to do it because Birthdays and Christmas make us go for broke in Nov. and Dec! But do not ask me to explain it- I am still learning- good luck guys!
