If you bring 4 to the register, 2 will be free from the B1G1 sale. The register will just show those 2 as $0.00. Then the coupon will subtract another $9.99 from your order, which leaves 1 left. Does that make more sense?

I am thinking that this may be a YMMV deal since the coupon is a CVS coupon & not a Manufacturer coupon. I can see how many cashiers might not let this go through. I guess we will see and hope for the best

Good idea on class gifts. Might do that for my son's daycare class. I would only need five/six or so as his class is small right now.

Gee....I know it's a nice idea to get them for your son's class as gifts....but that probably won't leave any on the shelves for other shoppers.........


The staples deal is that you get a 24 pak of batteries for $12.99....and then get that amount back in Staples rewards....which I just use for ink....which I ALWAYS need anyway due to my serious addiction to coupon printing......

I did this deal earlier today. The manager rang up the purchases. The coupon went through without a problem. No beeps. $9.99 for four Zhu-zhus!

i just went with the thought of getting 4 and the shelf sign said buy 2 get 1 free so after thinking it over i got 3, paying for 1. after i paid i realized they rang up b1g1 free so i could of got the 4th free too. i hate when i mess up the plan. i've been on vacation for 2 weeks with no coupon shopping so i'm out of the loop.

Hmm...since it says cannot be combined with other cvs coupons would that include ecbs??? I was planning on buying these when I bought the items for the dvd deal tomorrow but I had also planned on using ecbs and a $5 off $15 since I didn't have any coupons to go with the Scott products I am buying.

I wonder if you could actually use ecbs and a $off$$ if you are buying other items with these Zhu Zhu Pets?

You can use ECBs with it.

Your other stuff will be over the $15 anyway right? I don't see why you wouldn't be able to use a $5/$15.

Yes, my other items will be $25.96 (3 Scott toilet papers and 1 Scott paper towels) before tax and this is not including any of the Zhu Zhu Pets. So with the Zhu Zhu Pets my total will be $35.95 before tax. I planned on using a $5 off $15 and some ecbs to bring my total down. This will actually end up being the most I have spent at CVS in a very, very long time. But I use Scott toilet paper anyways and would love to buy Shrek and a Zhu Zhu Pet for my son so all in all if everything works out it still will be a good deal to me.

Someone posted in the other thread to hang onto your coupon for Shrek until the following week because it will be on sale. Did you see that?

I went today, Zhu Zhu & Kung Zhu rang up 9.88 each. 1st Transaction I got 4 Kung Zhu and a Pillow Pet. Used $15 ECB, Paid 14.87 + tax for all. 2nd Transaction, I had my niece purchase 4 more Zhu Zhu pets, used a $5 ECB, total 4.88 for 4.

Wanted to add that I had printed off coupons using different email addresses so they would have a unique number, but my niece had to scan my card. It still took the coupon, even though there were 2 coupons tied to my card. The manager asked if I wanted to buy more, they are sick of looking at them! I got blessed to be living close to a 'good' store...they are forever trying to talk me into buying ALL their stuff, which is good, because they are letting me know what the best deals are there. I love my CVS!
