I went to pick up some stuff at CVS today. I am trying to finish off my 10 mini's. I had already bought 5 last month.

Here's the order:

Now I gave the coupons in that order..I was holding the ECB's in my pocket to pay.

The new girl Caitlin scanned the $5/$30, then the $20/mini's(2) and the wouldn't scan. So she put them aside. I was worried because I used the $5/$30, it was going to mess things up then she couldn't make the Lysol or the GP tea go through either and put them aside, at one point saying I couldn't use them.She got the Ajax, and the Adidas to come off also. But had problems with the Buddies. I told her she would have to have the manager key a code because the coupons were high on the mini's. The new assistant manager came up and tried to get it through using the code and couldn't. Then she read the coupon and said on one per person(I didn't even read it). And was able to use these before at 5 at one time. So I don't know if that was the problem. But I told her I only wanted 1 mini. She told the girl to write a $1.49 for the GP Tea and $2.99 for the Lysol. And adjust the Buddies to .99. She still had a problem. And told her to void & re~ring it again. She had to she got the mini and the other coupons through using her code.
I got a $10.00 ECB for the MINI & a $3.00 for the adidas


I went out to car and my DS Lucas said MOM ou forgot the medicine in the pharmacy. So I went back in to get it. And I ask the pharmacist how much my meds would be for me and my 2 kids if I didn't have the insurance. and was shocked to find out the 4 I had were $720!!!
So I said when I was going out with DS I bet CVS loves us because we get our medicine from there each month and they make $1000.00 from us each month. And DS said wow mommy. The same asst. manager heard me and smiled so I went up to her and said would you let me buy the other one now?

She said sure, but still a problem. So I said I'll get a Candy bar for DS. Still a problem. So she ask why and cashier said well it will be .24 with the tax. So she said to get another one. So I do. So now it was $21.50, she had to adjust the MINI to $19.99 and then I owed $1.50 ..but ds is happy.

I didn't get the $10.00 ecb's on that one and my total on the 1st receipt said 6 of 10 earned but nothing on the second separate order. So what happened??? I really want the ECB's because I am buying Christmas with them

Ultra Mini's

I never ring other stuff with them because the register can't handle it! It is an override because the coupon is $20 and item is $19.99 ~ then it requires the supervisor card be scanned because it is over $10.

I have HEARD that you can only get $10 in ECB in one transaction for the Mini. (1 = $10 and 5 = $10) I have never tried more than one because I usually go to pharmacy ring 1 use the coupon, pay $.00 and get my $10.

Now I thought there was a limit of 5 per card ~ don't have my organizer handy so I can't check my tally sheet.

Nope it's 5 this month also!!!!!!

BTW I have given 8 of these out for Free on freecycle. I remove the upc and the pop. So they can't return them.

I don't know what happened, but I used 2 yesterday and got a $20 ecb. They always beep and the manager has to override as it is a high value coupon. What you should have done on the second order was added a few other things and then a $4 off $20. I know you were just doing it real quick, but that would have been $24 worth of stuff free!

I have bought more than one at a time and gotten ECBs for all in one order. Don't know what the 6 and 10 thing is about...???

I would guess that you did not scan you card. Check the second receipt and see if your ec card number is listed.

Your right I didn't even notice....I handed it to her and she didn't scan it. Can I take it back and return it? And get my coupon back and re-do it??? How does it work when you use a $coupon and get the item Free for returns?

I'm just going to re-buy it...

try to tell the manager that you forgot to scan the card, and usually, they will be happy to do it again for you.. good luck!

Also the minis are going on until the end of September? Is this right?
