Question about a rebate

Yesterday, I made my trip to CVS....they were still out of the Aquafresh and out of the Tylenol PM Rapid Release AND the $2 Gillette Razors. However, my total before q's and everything was over $50.00.....after it was $2.78!!!!!! I also got almost $30 ECB, too!!

My question is that I got the Ascencsia Contour Blood Glucose Monitoring System. I don't need it, but you get the full price back in ECB. On the box it has a thing for a mail-in rebate. Can I still do that rebate? Would that be considered some type of fraud?? I wasn't sure and feel silly asking, but just was curious if I could get the $9.99 back for the rebate!! Thanks!

~Ashley

It doesn't hurt to try. You will just be out of a stamp if it doesn't come.

Glucose Monitor rebates

In general, I have found that the monitor rebates are only for the actual amount you paid in cash or credit card. They deduct any ECBs you may have used or anything that prints on the receipt as "coupon."

you will receive $9.99 back if you mail in the rebate form. They do not know what ecb you received. Imagine that you have 1 card and buy 2 or more monitors on separate transactions. You'd get an ECB on 1 but not the other. Just because you bought it from CVS doesn't mean that you got an ECB for it.
