Virgin CVSer needs help! Ok, i'm gonna make my first bargain trek to CVS and I want to know how to do this to get the best deal. Deals I Want to Take Advantage Of: Aquafresh 2.99 (have $1 off) Pampers 13.88 (have $3 off and free Kandoo) Herbal Essences 3/9.99 (have $3 off 2) Gillette Fusion 8.99 (have $4 off) Almay BOGO (have $1 off) Air Wick 7.99 (have free warmer with purchase of oil and $? off oil) Yogos 1.69 (have $1 off) Pop Tarts 1.69 (have $1 off) Rice Krispie Treats 1.69 (have $1 off) I'm going to print the $$/$$ coupons too, but would like advice on if I need to add anything and how to get a super deal! If i'm figuring right i've got $50+ so I can use 2- $4/20, 1- $5/30 and 1- 10/50, so I would end up spending about $10, right? Thanks for your help! ![]()

Looks good. Just remember to hand them the $10/50 first. Are you getting in on the Kraft deal? That is a deal that is too incredible to pass up!

So do I need a item that i'm not using a coupon on for the $$/$$?? Because I don't think I have any items without coupons, I guess I could get a candy bar! Also, I don't have any ECBs yet, apparently when I went online to get the coupons the store hadn't registered the card they gave me yet!!! I had filled a few Rxs too! Oh well, but I do have a GC from the transfer a Rx get a $30 GC, I think there's about half left! So I guess it's a free trip after all! If I give them the triple EBC coupon, will it triple the items on this trip? Thanks ladies, ya'll are a great help! ![]()

2. The triple ECB coupon doesn't triple your ECBs that pop out when you shop. That coupon triples your "rewards" ECBs, which are figured quarterly based on the amount of non-RX spending you've done at CVS during the previous quarter. I find that the rewards are pretty tiny but it never hurts to triple them! 3. I don't know if they can salvage what you may have lost by them not registering your card yet. You might call the ECB people and ask them--if the card was swiped for each purchase, maybe they can get to the amounts, I'm not sure. Hope that helps and if I left anything out, I hope the CVS expert shoppers here will clarify! ![]() |

The Cvs closest to my house would only let me used 1 10/50 and not my others as well. I still got a decent deal though since I was only buying diapers and formula. My total was 51.23 and I spent $18 and change. I should of only been $9 though.

I posted my results if ya'll are interested, althought, they were out of some of the things I was going to get! Bummer... The cashier was a huge help, she told me what I could use and what I couldn't! Love that! She said I could use one of each of the $$/$$, but not more than one with the same code.

It is so nice when the cashiers are helpful and kind. All of the large corporations should require that their cashiers and managers are knowlegable of and supportive of the advertised deals the corporations offer the customers. What a rewarding (in many ways) experience it is when the cashiers are supportive and knowlegable. Be sure you are always appreciative and express your thanks to the clerks and managers who are nice. Perhaps someday it will catch on and spread to the others who are not so nice.

it's so important to have great cashiers. I had a new cashier last night at one of my favorite stores and my regular cashier was at the register next to us and when he heard my total ~$1.67~he laughed and told her that I had "magical coupons"....he's like "one day she got $80.00 worth of stuff for like $5.00" I was cracking up. The new cashier was very impressed with my total savings. I told her great job ringing up my coupons (some cashiers just have so many problems) and that I would be seeing her again! some good fillers right now...there are tons of 3/$.99 and 2/$.99 mini tubs of stuff near the school supplies: mini post its 3 for $.99 magnet clips 2 for $.99
