I am new to the online ECB. I just checked my account and I am wondering what the point balance is? Thanks for any info!

It just tells you amount/dollars worth of product that you bought. Some deals work based on dollar amount like "Get $5 ECB wyb $15 worth of XXXX". You don't always have to buy all $15 worth in one transaction......this can alert you that you didn't complete a deal before the week is up so you go back to buy the necessary product.

Its also used to track ongoing deals like the "buy 10 Hersheys candy bars get one free" that is ongoing. In this case, the value would be the number of bars you purchased rather than dollar amount since that is what you need to track.

NOTE~ point balances round up and can be deceiving.

Like it you buy $19.97 worth of XYZ but the deal is "buy $20" ~ you will get 20 points, but you won't get your ECB's because you are short. You can call and beg for them, but my "to do" list is long enough!
