I was wondering if you split up the $50.00 say buy 2 - $25.00 or if it had to be on card? I didn't have much time when I stopped there yesterday, and the Manger wasn't for sure, said we could try it and see what happended. I thought I would ask if anyone has done it yet, and see how it worked for you. I won't be able to go back until Monday or Tuesday.

I was planning to do this deal last night and split up the cards in smaller increments. My store only had the sign on the $50 cards, so I didn't do it. I was going to try to go to a different store today where the weekend manager is very knowledgeable about the ECB deals to see, but if anyone knows, I would appreciate knowing as well.

The picture in the ad shows 3 - $10 ones packaged together and a $25 single one so I think you could do increments.

Ok here's the cool part, and I don't know why but I've done it 3x's already. You can sell itunes cards on Ebay for over the amount. I sold a $25 card to a guy in Europe for $31. He said it was an exchange thing and you had to have a credit card to buy him where he was. Check out ebay, you will see buy it nows for up to $65! to list you have to promise to ebay that you already have the card, and you can only list one at a time.

My store only had the sign posted on the $50 dollar gift cards but I knew that the ad showed various amounts. I purchased 2 -$25.00 cards and got the ecb's without a problem. I'm excited to be getting some items for Christmas that have a bonus because I know I'd be buying these no matter what.

I got 2-$25 iTunes cards last night and got the $10 ECB. No, you can't use ECB's to pay for them and you can't use the $5/$25 coupon. Both the ECB's and the coupons say you cannot use them on giftcards and the register beeps if you try (the manager tried it for me).That was a bummer, but it's still a good deal to me as I have 2 hard to buy for nieces to get Christmas gifts for and this was perfect!

This is likely a YMMV thing, but my cashier had no problem with it, and the register accepted it without a beep. This is what I ended up doing:

Transaction 1:
$25.00 -- 1 $25 iTunes GC
$ 9.99 -- 1 NovaMax Meter
$34.99 -- SUBTOTAL
($5.00) -- $5.00-off-$30.00 printable
($4.99) -- ECB (cashier adjusted $5.00 ECB down)
$25.00 -- Cash out of pocket
Received $9.99 ECB from the NovaMax Meter.

Transaction 2:
$25.00 -- 1 $25 iTunes GC
$ 5.00 -- Sundry stuff I needed: milk, eggs, juice
$30.00 -- SUBTOTAL
($5.00) -- $5.00-off-$30.00 printable
$25.00 -- Cash out of pocket
Received $10.00 ECB from the iTunes.

So I ended up having to spend $50.00 out-of-pocket (which is very much against my nature to do) ... but in addition to the GC's, I also got $10.00 ECB from the iTunes deal, $9.99 ECB from the meter deal, and $5.00 worth of stuff.

Again, this is probably a YMMV ... I was very fortunate.

I was thinking you could probably dod that as long as you have stuff to cover the other coupons. I think I did that with gift cards last year. You still have to pay for the gift cards with cash not cvs stuff.
