Ive switched to doing hardly any deals at CVS and the majority of my deals at Walgreens because CVS has been so slow!

Another change at CVS that I find a little disturbing is the new "Limit one per household" on the really good ECB deals, like the Fusion razor this week. I mean I do understand limits but when it's on a good item, why only one? Why not like 3 per household or something reasonable?

Ditto. I haven't been at this for long but with Walgreens right across the street their deals have been much better with a few exceptions. I don't know if this has been mentioned in the CVS forum but some grocery stores will take the ECBs if they normally take competitors coupons. Comments in the WAGS forum lead me to believe that its a YMMV deal. I guess I am lucky with CVS, WAG and HT all right together and HT takes RRs and ECBs and that makes for FREE groceries when I can combine with HT deals.

I also have been in there for weeks...but did go today to pick up a couple of things: 3 cans of tomato soup - $3.00 1 Bayer Contour - $14.99 4 boxes of benedryl (ran out at home) - $20.00 Used the $3/$15 CVS Used the $5.00 ECB Used the $14.99 Contour Q Used the $1.00 benedryl Q X 4 = $4.00 Used the $1.00 soup Q X 3 = $3.00 OOP was $8 and got a $10.00 ECB...not a bad trip since I needed the benedryl

I'm at CVS only once a week now, WAGS two or three times a week. I agree the deals have been sorely lacking. Its harder each week to pull together something worth going to get. |

I agree I havent been to CVS to pick up my fall bucks or the freebies. I guess I have just lost interest with them.

I agree the ads have been very slow. I think I've purchased maybe 2 deals in the last 2 months. I'm hoping that the deals get better.

I am glad this is on here...didn't want to be the 1st one talking about it. When I did the survey last month. I told them about it, but I am not sure what they are going to do to fix it and make more appealing...it just weird!!! The colors are too bright...they need to tone it down a bit. Thanks!

For the first time in over two years, I'm not going couponing on a Saturday night this week. I'm not sure what I'll do instead. Maybe watch Emma and eat popcorn?

It seems like the past 6 months have been slow for freebies or moneymakers. Last year I'd go to CVS a couple of times a week because new deals would crop up all the time. I also have $30 ECBs expiring (my card is down to $50 and I used to have $150 a year ago!), and I have no idea what to do with them. my store already got rid of most halloween stuff last week and replaced it with Christmas stuff, so probably no 75% or 90% clearance for me, either! |

Me!! I have $25 in ECB expiring next month and am only trying to keep them going for Black Friday, but am really disappointed in the ads. I might have to give up CVS all together if this keeps up.

Amazing....We just got our first CVS in town at the beginning of September, and I was so excited, thinking we'd be getting all these great deals, since that's what I'd heard & read. Well, just this evening I was telling my mom that I am trying to remain hopeful, but so far have been quite disappointed in the CVS deals. Wags has been lightyears better, with lots of MMs lately. I'm glad to see this on here b/c I thought maybe it was just me not knowing how to "work" CVS since it's new to us. Thanks for all the input!

I started CVS'ing about 2 years ago. I used to get awesome deals! I still have a huge stockpile of razors, shampoo, body wash, toothpaste, toothbrushes, deoderant, medicines (that haven't expired.) I got lots of super cheap diapers and wipes. The sales were wonderful. At one time I had about $80 ECB's on each of two cards that I would roll. Now I'm down to $5 on one card because the deals have been horrible. It's also annoying that the ECB's register as manufacturer coupons so we have to pay taxes on them now. Unless the deals pick up I'm not even going to bother shopping at CVS anymore.

it is kinda sparse which is a bummer because my cvs is the best. the employees are so nice and go the extra mile to help me. i have a teenage daughter who really needs makeup and i keep stalling her waiting for the deals which never come.

I have 20.00 in ECB' expiring 11/17 and really wish they were expiring more towards Black Friday. I was not able to roll them into anything worth while to build them back up. I only went to get the 2/4 Candy deals and burned a 6.99 ECB along with MFR. Q's and got my total down .23. Going in tomorrow to get the Xmas book to see how I can work the deals before I plan my next trip. Such a Bummer

I hope they step it up with the ECB deals in the next few weeks. I still love CVS and got an amazing clearance haul a few weeks ago, but haven't been bothering with most of the ECB deals lately.

I have a CVS within eyeshot of my living room and I haven't there in days. Nothing to buy. For awhile it looked like all they were big on selling was candy....now that's died off a bit but I have my house stocked with body wash, deodorant, bacterial wipes, shampoo, and flu med. I was able to get a couple more body washes using the Reinventing Beauty coupon last week on Softsoap so the OOP was only $1.38 plus tax and I'll give those for Christmas gifts. I've basically been going to RiteAid because their deals have been a LOT better.
