If I understand your question correctly, you can use one CVS coupon and one MQ on the same item provided of course the coupons are not expired and are for the correct item.

Unlike Walgreens, you can have more coupons than items if some of them are CVS coupons and can use as many of your ECB's like cash to pay for your purchases (with the usual exclusions like tobacco, alcohol, postage stamps, gift cards, prescriptions).

I think you'd have to double your transcation to get the $3 EB. You need to spend $10 to get 3 EB, this scenerio is only for $5.
