When the ad gets to the store it'll be posted I'm usually able to get the ads 1 1/2 weeks in advance so let's hope they come a bit sooner for the Black Friday deals.

The site, iblackfriday, says it has all the 2009 Black Friday Sales up & there is a CVS ad listed. Its got some freebies in it but not many, I'm kind of hope that its a fake. But, I think its the same site that a friend sent me to last year. I have NO CLUE how to attach the pics from there to here.....but the site is called "iblackfriday" with the normal www in front and dot com in the back.

The ad listed on that site is last year's - either that or all the same stuff is FREE
Also, last year the FREE stuff started on Thanksgiving Day and in my store was cleared out in less than an hour - I'll be there for opening again for the Freebies

I just checked out this site and it is definitely not this years ads. They are showing ads for stores that have gone out of business (Circuit city) and if you look at some of the sales it's old merchandise listed. I will definitely be checking back with this site though. Thanks OP

are you shure its last years? in the target one in the movie they have forgetting sarah marshell and i dont think that came out till this year!? am i right or wrong like i said i cant remember!

ok so i just did a search on the release date of that movie and it was sep 30th 2008 dang i was really hoping it was this years add!!

i also just wrote a email to the site asking them if this was last years ad's or this years, i will let everone know what i find out!

Someone had posted the deals not long ago on here, thinking it was this year's but it was in fact, last year's deals. It's not listed anywhere yet, although it would be great if we did know

Yeah the ad isn't up for this year yet. Sure looked like it was but that is last year's. CVS had appliances for $20 with 10 ecb if I remember correctly.

There won't be a concrete CVS Black Friday ad until *maybe* 2 weeks beforehand if we're lucky. There might be an 'order sheet' floating around out there somewhere, but honestly those just annoy me b/c you never know if it's 'for real' until the real printed ad comes out anyway.

Last year some stores did not even get the ad in time to order extra stock to get there in time - I know one of my stores didn't get the ad until the day after they had to order for the truck to get there before Thanksgiving, so they got it in less than 1 week in advance. Thankfully, I had already seen the ad here and typed them up a list of stuff to order.

That's what my husband said last night, he gets it about 2 weeks before but will keep his eyes open.

Yep, last year was awesome b/c there were so many MoneyMakers! Plus a lot of us got $/$$ CRTs just in time to use w/ all the freebies and MoneyMakers. I'm hoping the same thing happens again this year. And I'm hoping they bring back the appliances - I could totally go for an extra crockpot! LOL

I want appliances too. I was invited to four weddings this summer and everyone got an appliance I got for free with ECBs. I want a crockpot. And a rice cooker even if it is a pain in the butt. And a new can opener, and--

For years I worked a job where we had to come into work on Black Friday. This year I don't. I can't wait! So what kinds of sales does CVS offer on Black Friday typically? Is it a lot of ECB deals or lower prices? What were the freebies on last year?

CVS is open on Thanksgiving so there's no need to wait until BF

Last year there were about $90 or so of free afer ECB offers and quite a few other ECB deals. Combined with the Long Island Parent magazine $3/$15 coupon many of us cleaned up.

Last year was my first year of the Thanksgiving sales...it was awesome!!!

I went TG day, as soon as they opened and I was the only one in the store

Last year I went to my store at 11:30pm the day before thanksgiving. I was the first one there. I got everything and waited until midnight (they wouldn't do it early!). By 12 am there were 4 other sets of people doing the deals too. I was the first to check out and had no problems at all. That way I didn't have to run out on turkey day!

Last year it was a 3-day ad - Thanksgiving Day, Black Friday, and Saturday.
