We were told there systems were updated just a few days ago to track how many of the coupons you use. She stated she wasn't sure what the number is, but you can only use a certain amount of them. The amount starts over when the new expiration date.

that doesn't seem right. what if they are a book I paid to buy 50 of? they are going to tell me I can't use them? same with the ones online, I can print as many as I want.
I really hate how stingy they are getting with their coupons!!

You're talking about only the 3/15 coupons or ALL coupons?

It seems like so many manager/supervisors get caught up in the gossip. Someone says something and a whole string of them start telling customers about it. I am sure that they can track your coupon use but as far as limiting the amount of these coupons you use I doubt it. Hopefully CVS will realize that they already charge much more than competitors and the only benefits are using their coupons and the ECB's. They make their money back one way or the other as long as people aren't using them incorrectly.

the employee said it was in an e-mail from the corporate office and it is tracked with ur care card and yes it was only the 3/15 coupons she said they had to read it and sign it when they got there paycheck

nah system just updated and i used probably about 10 on friday and maybe about 20-30 today and it never stopped us

i don't know what the limit is but can't be too low of a number

i used alot today cause i was using up to 3 per transaction iwe walked in with only 5 cash and walked out with 14 bags of stuff and change from the $5.00

I am with you guys on that, I don't think its right what about the ones that sometimes print on your receipt or emails. Are they going to tell you, you can't use those because the limit is reached. They should not put them out there if they are going to be that anal about it.

And you don't have any wonder why this may be a red flag and why corporate would think it was a problem? 30 in one day? I am curious which CVS this was that told you this, so I can stay out of it.

Whatever.. if they do that then I will borrow my friends care cards or sign up all my family members for cards. Such nonsense.if they don't want ppl to use the coupons then don't make them available. But wouldn't the new rules have to be printed in the fine print on the coupons?

On my coupons it always says "limit 1 coupon per customer." So...that is all they need to say really in the fine print, they could limit it to 1 (well, per card at least).

Technically the 'rule' is already on the coupons: "Limit 1 per customer". LOL But then again many of us define a 'customer' differently than they might have intended...

Yeah 30 in 1 day is a little much, maybe that is why they told you that

That's a lot of cvs's in one day! I know yesterday when I went the manager said they can only take one of the 3/15 q's per person. Because she said someone came in and swiped all the richmond parents magazines and fifty plus. I just looked on ebay and sure enough people are selling them, that makes me sick who does that just to make money. These are free publications and people are trying to make money off of them. It does hurt others that are trying to get the q's. Speaking for my self I always try to get some for others that its not available to but I am not out for the sell just raok. That is the way it should be!
