I went to a CVS that I don't typically frequent (and now I know why), but the person checking me out was skeptical of all my coupons though IMO I didn't have that many. Anyway, I did 3 different transactions which he was ok with as there was no one else in the store. He would only let me use 1 $2/$10 and $2 skincare coupons in all 3 transactions as it's "one per customer". I said that was fine. Then, he seemed irked that I used the $2 skincare with the .79 handsoap and said that the coupon was higher value than the product to which I smiled and told him he could price adjust it down if he needed to (he didn't as it scanned fine which seemed to really irritate him). Here's what really irks me though as I had the BOGO coupon for the Stayfree that is priced 2 for $9. He only gave me $3 credit on the coupon. Ok, I know it's only $1.50 difference, but I know CVS will get reimbursed for $4.50 and with all the other issues he had with the other coupons I'm just irritated. Unfortunately, I didn't notice it until I had left the store. I'm not sure if I should do anything or just chalk it up to experience. TIA

There's no good reason for the cashier to have adjusted it to $3 --- the Stayfrees cost $4.50 --- the amount of ECB's earned should NOT be factored into your coupon --- if it were me, I'd probably go back and point it out to another cashier, who might direct you to a manager............ that the coupon was entered incorrectly and you would like your extra $1.50 back........NOW!!! You might have to call corporate about it, but I would fight for my $1.50 ![]()

I'd totally bring it back with the receipt. If you have to go to another CVS then do that. We use coupons that are for $.30 and less sometimes, so $1.50 is A LOT to not get off. Plus he has NO right to make the coupon value different than what it should be unless the item was less than the coupon. I'm irritated at that and I'd take it back and get your $1.50 back!!!

No, he didn't mention anything about that coupon and it wouldn't have given me overage as I used ECB's on that order to get the OOP down.

I think I'll take your suggestions and go back to a CVS tomorrow. Since I think the employee was the manager at the one CVS (though I'm not positive), I may go to a different CVS and see if they can deal with it. Thanks for all the input and support. It was very helpful.
