Scenario advice

Im new to CVS and here is a scenario Id like your input on. These are estimations since I cant remember exact prices . Im pretty sure my cvs wont give me a hard time for using the q’s listed below. If they do, ill modify somehow! Im just trying to get started and as long as I keep oops reasonable in the beginning, id like to try to rack up some ecbs and start rolling along (hopefully to use on later diaper deals—I have 2 young boys)! Please advise of any other good scenarios to try while we still have those cvs q’s!!! I already did the dove deal twice and the tresemme once , so I have $15 in ecbs on three different cards to get started. Should I do smaller transactions? I was going to do this one on two different cards to get started. Any other deals I should try??

Tresemme buy 3 bottles, $15 earns 5
Venus Embrace 9.99 earns 6
Lypsyl 2.99 earns 2.99
4 glade candles 1.99 each earns 4
playskool wipes 2@ 7.49 earns 6
Oral B 4.99 earns 4.99
Approx total—55.99

Qs
-1 Oral b
-1 Wipes
-1 Wipes
-4 Venus
-4 $1/1 Glade

Manu
Cvs Q’s
-4/20 cvs email
-5/15 cvs email
-3/15 beauty

Pay with $5 ecbs
27 + tax estimated oop
Earn back 29

Thanks L

There is also a CVS 2/10 cvs product coupon. It is a purple booklet I found it at the pharmacy counter and you could use that for your wipes (playskool is a cvs product)

That Tresemme really makes your oop go up and you only get $5 back. I only do deals like that if I absolutely need the stuff.

You may want to break this down into smaller orders. Also, the Clean & Clear is on sale this week buy $15 get $5. There are also $2 coupons on this site. You could work them into a few deals to get more ECBs too.

I would take out the Tresemme. I assume you're only doing it so you can get the $5 and use the $3/$15 Beauty coupon. If you're not partial to the Tresemme brand, I would do the Dove deal instead. That's also get $5 wyb $15, and there are Dove coupons from this Sunday, which include a $3/2 coupon. Also, the Dove shampoo and conditioners (psa $4.99) are BOGO this week.

So, that deal can look like this:

2 Dove Shampoos at $4.99 each (BOGO)
2 Dove Conditioners at $4.99 each (BOGO)
1 Dove Shampoo and Conditioner at $5.29 each (BOGO)
Total: $15.27

Use:
$3/$15 Beauty - Total is now $12.27

If you have three $3/2 coupons, that's $9 off, making your total $3.27. You'll get back $5, so you're getting six bottles of shampoo/conditioner and making $1.73 in ECB.

But, since you have a $5, I'd say add the Lypsil, making your total $6.26. Use your $5, use $1.26 + tax oop, get back $8.99 in ECB.

If you really like the tresemme, you could get 2 shampoo/conditioner (think they're like 4.69 or so a piece) and then add on one of the 1.99 hairsprays they have. *Haven't triesd it myself, but it saus ANY Tresemme item, so I think it would work. Just an idea!

I definitely split up items like lypsyl, toothpaste, vitamin C. If you buy too many of the same thing in one transaction it makes too large of an ECB - I prefer as small of ones as possible.

I did the Tresemme deals because I like their products. It's spend $10 to get $5, not $15.... so I get two of the $4.99 products (big conditioner or shampoo or the mousse) and then the $1.99 hairspray. It's worked all month You might be better off doing that
