Here is my scenario. I get so confused with tax.

Do you take the $4 off after the tax?

4/20 scenario

Memo book - .99*2 = $1.98
Pencils – 1.99*2 = $3.98
Vinyl binder - $3*2 = $6
CVS p liners - .89 = .89
Filler paper - $2*2 = $4
Papermate pens - .99*2 = $1.98

Before tax: - $18.83

After tax: - $20.38 - $4Q = $16.38 – I have over $20 in prior ECBs

Receive $18.83 – in ECBs

Total cost after ECBs - $2.45 overage

I'm not 100% sure but I think for the 4/20 to apply, your subtotal may have to be 20.00 or over. So your subtotal is 18.83, you'll have to spend 1.17 more for the 4/20 to apply.

Pretty sure the $4/20 is before tax, so you'd need a filler of at least $1.17.
