The very nice mgr ordered 7 boxes of Infinity pads for me, after I got RC and there were no more replacement boxes for 3 weeks. They came in, I brought them up to the counter, and they refused to ring them up for $4.99 because the picture in the old ad they got out of the files was of the regular pads.

How can I prove that the Infinity was ringing up $4.99?

Call corporate? Show someone else's receipt?

I'm at a loss. TIA!

Wow. What a tough situation. I know the pads you are talking about because they were $4.99. I don't know what advice to give. Sorry!

When they wrote the raincheck did they scan the product to make sure the price was $4.99? They're the ones who wrote the RC so THEY had to have verified the price before they wrote the RC.

If you can't persuade them with that argument, perhaps someone here will have a scan of their receipt that they can upload for you to print and take to the store.

If that still doesn't work, CVS Customer Service might be able to check back a few weeks to see what products were on sale and at what price. (I'm sure the store has a lot of sales data, too, but sounds like they aren't being very customer friendly and helpful.)

Did the Mgr that gave and order them for you remember? I would check with them. Or if you know someone that still has their receipt you could take that and give it a try. Did your rc not have the price listed on there? I would make sure that in the future that it was in case this would happen again. I hate it when this happens!

Also when there is a very good sale price of an item I make sure I scan it at the price check machine and print out price check label so I can show the cashier if there is any problem. HTH.

the scanners have a print option when checking the prices, they come out just like the coupons very useful!

I knew I could price check but didnt know I could print. Where is the print button?

After you do a pricecheck for the item all that info appears on the screen.There are 3 buttons right below the screen on the scanner.Press any one of them and the label prints out. HTH.

I didn't know you could do that? How do you get the price check to print? Is there a button you push on the front or side of the box?

I've gone to several different cvs stores and used rain checks and haven't had that problem they even adjust the quantity for me. I have gotten twenty-seven so far. Sorry for your trouble. Try again maybe someone different at the counter won't question it.

I was afraid that would happen so I made them write Always Infinity on the raincheck. Now I'm glad I did...

Lisa, you were so right to do that. So, I went in today and showed him chicmomma's printout of the raincheck and because RC just said "Always", and the picture just showed "always", AND because mgr didn't remember the Inifinity being that low of a price, no go.

Lessons learned:

1. Check your raincheck and make sure its written correctly, ESPECIALLY if its not clear in the ad, and
2. Get a printout of the price check (although I'm still not sure how you do that if product is S/O).

I've been doing my classroom observations for my teaching certificate, and my first week a little 6 yr old girl came to school in dirty oversized rags every day, and desparately needed someone to spend one on one with her to bring her up to level for reading.

Kind of puts everything in perspective, esp when its so close to home. (My neighbor and I both packed bags of stuff for her from our dd's outgrown stuff.)

But I will always think of this little girl when I get pissed about a coupon not going through, or someone take a long time, or mgr refuses my request, or any one of a million other things we know can go wrong when couponing, you know?

We are so blessed.

Sorry about your trouble. Try calling CVS customer service and seeing what they say. Probably they can convince your store manager. I have a store receipt also with that price. Do you want me to upload that if it will help?

Well, I just searched my envelopes and I have NO MORE RAINCHECKS. Between the Always Infinity I purchased the week of that great sale and the rainchecks I got (remember, if they have the product you want but not every variation, you can get a raincheck for the type they do not currently have!), I bought over 30 boxes. I can hardly imagine what it will be like to walk into a CVS and NOT check the feminine hygeine section.... I think I finally have ENOUGH of them.
