In the upcoming 7/19 ad, CVS is running B1G1 50% off Essence of Beauty. I have some CVS qs for $2/1 I clipped from the new Reinventing Beauty mag. Can I use 2 CVS qs on this deal, 1 for each Essence of Beauty product, even though CVS is running a B1G1 50% sale?

Same concept but with the Viologie haircare. CVS running a B1G1 Free that week. I also have some $2/1 any Viologie CVS coupons from the Reinventing Beauty mag. Can I use 2qs or only 1q for this deal?

Has anyone been able to do this before? With the essence you're not getting the 2nd product free like the Viologie so I don't see how they can deny the use of 2qs on that one. But the Viologie... it is an advertised deal, not a B1G1 q, so can I scan products, scan 2 qs, then scan my card?? Help!

If it were a manufacturer coupon I would say yes to using two..but being a CVS coupon, alot state that you can only use one per transaction and if you try and use 2 it will beep..

I'm going to try it today with the B1G1 50% off suncare to see if it works so I don't spend too much time planning for next week. I'll let y'all know how it works out! Thanks!

Ok I tried it out and Ice was right... On the B1G1 50% suncare deal, I could only use 1 CVS q... either a $1 off 1 suncare CRT or the $1 off reinventing beauty coupon. I tried to buy 4 total and use 2 coupons and even then it wouldn't scan the 2nd coupon. I would have to do more than 1 transaction in order to do multiples of the suncare q.

fyi- I also had a hard time with the skin effects B1 skin effects get the free skin effects cleanser or scrub. The ad does not specify what skin effects you must buy. So, I tried to buy the scrub and get the cleanser free. The cashier would not do it- said it had to be "one in the box." So- I went back, got a clearance skin effects acne treatment (marked down to $5) that was "in a box" and brought it back to the counter. I also used a $2 skin effects q from reinventing beauty mag. It didn't ring up the cleanser free either... so I said "well, it's in the box!" She adjusted it and I walked out with 2 products for $3.23. Boo-yah!
