I have a $5 off a $20 CVS purchase, and I have 4 of the $2/2 Gold Emblem nuts. Can I use them all in the same transaction and have the nuts count toward the $20 total?

Yes you can. I've done this several times now with no problem at all.

At first I was picking up the .99 cent small packets to have no oop, but recently I've started getting the Trail Mix (asian, cranberry etc) since they were on sale for 2 for $3. The packs are a LOT larger and filled with more variety. It means $1 oop for 2 bags which is still a great deal. hth.
