Trying to use up a 10/50 exp 1/5 quickly & painlessly, but worried about the "no other discounts" fine print on the glucose meter sale--anyone confirm no problems to use? Thanks.

Both hubby and I have "purchased" free glucose monitors this week with no questions. I guess since the coupon was so high, the cashier did have to swipe the manager's card, but it went thru fine.

I have bought a few, hubby too and no problems, the manager does need to swipe card, but no problems at all. Just a heads up for anyone who didn't read in the wag's forum, Walgreens has the One Touch Mini for 14.99, the coupon is up to $20 off, so those are free too. Hope this helps someone =)

At my CVS tonight the manager wouldn't let me use the 30.00 coupon because of the wording 'no other discounts apply' but I was able to use the 20.oo coupon on the One Touch meter. I'm a type 1 diabetic and really wanted the new meter because it provides better testing results over different testing times....grrrrrr now I have coupons I can't use.

I have had no problem using the $30 coupon. I combined it with the $3/15 and $3 off CVS coupon with no problems.

Yes my CVS let me use them.

At the one store the cashier (i posted this somewhere else i think) was NOT happy with my coupon.

She said something like "well im not sure how you do it here because in Dallas we have to have a manager do it, because people buy them and try to return them later for money without a receipt"

I gave her the most evil look ever and she threw in "not that I'm saying this lady does that"

Gah!

Worked fine for me too! The cashier looks at it kind of funny.. because it is such a huge coupon...but then they smile and go on with the process.
