| How do you organize CRT coupons?
I'm sooo disorganized with my coupons and have tried so many different options. I have found that a very large binder with bbcard sleeves is the best method for me, albeit frustrating, because 1) when they expire, leaves lots of empty spots and 2) sometimes folding them to a size to fit makes it hard to see exp. dates. Ick...I'm dealing with that, though. Now, CRT's...I can't get a handle on those. Do you put yours in a binder or just have them in a folder? What about when you have multiple cards to keep track of? My card typically gets the most CRTs, while mom and dad's get a few less each time. I'm assuming that's because I buy the majority of the stuff w/my card. I want a hubby that does all of the clipping and organizing like some of those women on Extreme Couponing.

I put my CRTs with the coupons they match with then put them in an envelope that I use for CVS . The DH will go buy my papers, but leaves the clipping and organizing to me. I'm happy he remembers to use his CVS card |

I have a zipped pencil pouch in my purse that has my coupons I plan on using immediately and my crt's. Within the pouch I use snack size zip baggies. I have been doing this for about six months and it works well. Hth

I have a large 3 ring binder as well. On evay I found a lot of currency holders, and sleevesade for coupons, so that's a lot of help with the size and organizing of it. I have a section in back for "misc coupons" including store coupons, and I use that section for my crts.

I have a 3 ring binder for coupons I am likely to use or would use if free or nearly free. I also have a "check organizer " from the $1 section at target. It's about twice the length of the plastic coupon organizers if the same idea. In it I have sections labeled for wags, cvs, my grocery store and a section for found and free items anywhere. I carry this in my handbag. I keep my cvs card and CRTs in there as well as RR from wags. This item has helped my organization tremendously! |

I have a zippered wallet type of thing I found on clearance at Macy's long before I was serious about couponing. It has two sides with a small zippered section in between. A full zipper closes the whole thing. I use one side for my card's CRTs and one side for DH's. I am supposed to use the middle for receipts but I never do

I pin them to my cork board (I keep clipped Q's I have not used pinned there too) in order of expiration dates. The cork board is on the wall behind my PC so as I build my TX on word, I take what I need and place in envelopes.

I just paper clip them together ( separated by card number) & organize them by H&B, Snacks, Beverage, and Household. My cvs takes expired ones so I keep mostly all. And I seem to have a great memory of all my coupons in my binder & pouch so I never forget if when a sale comes along. Weird bc I'll forget what I ate for breakfast but every coupon is memorized |

i have inserts non clipped in grocery bags with dates on them like '6/24 ss' written in black marker and says the count of how many inserts like '6/24 ss 24ct' so i know how many are there.. when a sale is coming up, i clip. then i have an accordion like folder that goes in my purse. the tabs say, "cvs, cvs, target, smiths, wags". cvs gets 2 . then my ecb's and in my purse arranged by expiration date. right where my 'bills' would go. in the coin purse part of my wallet are my crts, also arranged by exp date. this is when theyre not part of a sceneario yet. once ecbs or crts are in a scenario, theyre paper clipped with qs and they go in my accordion folder (a coworker bought it for me ). my actual scenarios are in my notepad app of my phone titled like '7-1 cvs'..list includes items to gather in cart and also like 'scan huggies jean diapers to check for clearance'. i know this is not what you asked, but voila!

I clip everything and use a binder. Since we are pretty selective, everything we are likely to consider using goes in the binder and everything else goes in a small coupon file for trains. I put my CRTs in the binder in the appropriate category. If there is no chance I'm going to use it, I put it in the trash. If I'm going to use it on my next trip, it goes in my wallet (which is like a clutch and also holds my ECBs and Viggle gcs just in case...did I mention I love CVS?). One thing I do with my binder weekly is put everything that will expire within the next sale week in the front in an "expiring soon" category. Right now it is everything through 7/4 because the grocery sales around here end then. Just going through it helps me remember what I don't want to waste. Sent from my Motorola ATRIX using AFullCup

I use 3 ring binder. First half all non food q, back half all grocery. In the middle I keep store q. My cvs accepts expired CRTs for up to 90 days past, so I have a ton of them. :-)

In a huge pile in my purse ![]() I don't really organize my coupons. I keep whole inserts in various places (work, drawer, car trunk ) until I'm ready to use them and then I'll clip them.CRTs are just a huge mess. My CVS accepts expired CRTs indefinitely so I need to keep better track of what I have. I have a decent memory for these things but I can't just have them laying around.

I have a purse size plastic accordion file (from the Target dollar spot) that I use for drug store trips. I have tabs for each of the three drugstores at the front, where I keep GCs, ECBs/+Ups (not shopping wags anymore so no RRs at present ), and in-ad Qs, store specific cats and CRTs. I file the CRTs and store coupons in order of expy date so the nearest expires first and each week I purge out expired Qs when I file in Sunday's new ones.Behind the store tabs I have tabs for OTC meds, dental care, hair care, facial care, razors/deo, body wash/lotion, feminine items, make up etc. Once I make my shopping list for the week, I put it and the matching MQs in the tab for that store--I only have to dig through the general tabs if I find an item on clearance. |

I keep my crt's in a coupon wallet in which I use the dividers for stores. I pull Qs for each store and stick them in their slot for the week. I keep my coupon wallet in my purse; I got one that coordinates w/ my wallet (was a gift).

I use envelopes, the regular white kind for mail ! I have one per card (me, dh and SIL) and have the last 4 card #'s on the outside. I also write the last 4 card numbers on the back of printed coupons because I have confused them before. In each envelope is the printed q's to the back, then CRT's (most recent in front) and then ECB's. I replace the envies as needed, hoping to find a more permanent solution like fabric or plastic because they do deteriorate quickly being in my purse. I have one envie that has all of the q's I may use at CVS for the week I'm working on. I put them in there as I print/cut them so I don't have to look for them before I leave the house. I also use scrap printer paper to write out my transactions or deals I need to look for i.e. clearance and keep that in the mq envie so I don't forget to check while I'm there. I use a binder for my q's but I am REALLY struggling to keep up with clipping, I'm so behind it isn't even funny ! I'm not quite as stressed about it since I read on here that inserts have the date on the spine, just not as many clearance deals is all.

I use a 3 ring binder for my Q's. For my crts, rr and ecbs I use the purse sized accordian style wallet. Not bragging or anything, but my sweetie helps clip my Q's every week. :-) Jody

I have 2 binders. The first one is my main coupon binder, where all of my clipped mqs are filed. Then I have a 2nd binder with plastic 2 pocket folder inside and inside each folder I have a couple of storage pages (some have 4 pockets or 9 pockets). Each store has a folder (CVS, Rite Aid, Walmart, Dollar General, etc) some have 2 stores if I don't shop there frequently. Each store folder contains the add, matchups printed from various sources, and I keep all of my reciepts, rewards or store coupons in those. When I am preparing to shop I put all of the MQs in the store folder, until I get ready to divide them into transactions, then I match store q's, CRTs and MQs and put them into envelopes by transaction. I also have another divided storage sheet in the front of this for expired q's or one's I find in the stores.

My "system" has multiple levels . I'm kind of OCD when it comes to organizing things.1. All inserts are organized by Date, with the most recent up front in a rectangular basket. It's usually 3 months worth. And most of the time I have 2 of each insert. Sometimes 3 when my mom brings me a set I cut out only those coupons I'm 100% I will want to use. Usually that means only the favorite brands/products. If there is a sale that looks good (i.e. FREE stuff or good donation items) on items I typically wouldn't buy then I just look up which inserts the coupons were in and then cut them out. 2. I organize clipped insert coupons as well as any "found" coupons in a coupon organizer wallet which fits nicely into my purse and goes with me when I go shopping. The one I have is all plastic though and I've been looking to "upgrade" to this one on Amazon I've used post-its to label the different dividers, such as "beauty", and then within that pocket I have smaller envelopes* labeled with categories, such as Shampoo/Cond, Beauty Tools, Shaving etc. For store coupons I have an envelope* for each of my typical stores, CVS, Walgreens, Target, and two grocery stores. I keep all the store coupons, catalinas, CRTs, ECBs, RRs in these envelopes and they go in the front pocket of the organizer. * I cut off the closing flap of the envelope. So I can browse through the inside more easily. 3. Any other store coupons, such as JoAnn, Macy's, Victoria's Secret, etc.... go into a pocket of my tote. I like this system because once I set it up, it takes virtually no time to maintain. When I insert coupons into an envelope, I quickly look through and pull out any that are expired. Every few months, I toss inserts that are more than 3 months old.
