I didn't enter any credit card info, so I think it will just expire.

Just want to know if it is ethically wrong to use this coupon?

Newspapers often bill you. Under the Terms and conditions it does say that the account will auto renew. The renewal rate is something like $8/ month, $80/ year. Call me paranoid but I wanted to actively cancel. Although for most it is probably a good idea to wait and see if there is a new coupon next week before canceling. I am just going to be pretty busy next week and didnt want to forget.


Before when these coupons have been offered in an e subscription, the general consensus was that as long as you actually had an e subscription, it was fine to use it. It was not fine to go to a website that was hosting a copy and use it.

This is exactly what I was wondering. I think I'm too paranoid to use it anyway . I may take it to them and tell them about the e subscription and just see what the store says about the coupon and go from there.

I just had an epiphany! Lol. I used to deliver papers and I had a gas station on my route where I would drop off and they were exactly the same paper so, unless things have changed in the past few years (I doubt it), the store papers will have the q also. Don't know why I didn't think of this earlier. Maybe because I try to forget that horrible experience of delivering papers? Lol

Just to be clear when I was talking about needing the subscription to use the coupon I was only talking about the electronic version. This was just speaking to the ethics of using an e version coupon. Using one hosted on a website might be considered comparable to using a photocopy of newspaper coupon...or at least that was what I took from the conversations the last time these coupons were offered.


For the printed versions, if the delivered paper has the coupon, the version available in stores should too.

Well, poo! I get the Briefing too but I either didn't get one yesterday or it went missing! I've got a couple stores to stop at after work today, so I'll see if I can find a store that still has some of yesterday's papers (not going to hold my breath though).
