At each CVS location there is a red machine. When you scan your ExtraCare card at the red machine it prints coupons for you! Keep scanning until the machine screen reads "No more coupons. Try again tomorrow." as sometimes the good coupons print on the 2nd or 3rd scan.

Each week there are "standard" coupons that print that everyone receives. There are additional coupons that print randomly or based on your past purchases or shopping habits. The coupons that expire in 2 weeks are typically the ones that vary.

Please post and discuss any CRT coupons you receive the week of 5/6 - 5/12 in this thread! Expiration dates listed are from the date the coupon is printed.

I stopped into CVS on two different occasions this week, and like every good couponer should, scanned my CVS card at the magic coupon box until it wouldn't spit out any more coupons.

The first time I scanned my card, I received a $5 off $25 fragrance purchase, $2 off Nature Made Vitamins, and $0.30 off 2 Snickers 2-to-go. I wasn't in the market to purchase any of those things at the time, but I always save the coupons until they expire just in case a good deal turns up.

I went back on my second trip, scanned my card, and out popped a $2 off Natura Made Vitamin and a $0.30 off 2 Snickers 2-to-go. Now, I've got two identical store coupons with two different expiration dates.

I know Natura Made vitamins are B1G1 right now, so would I be able to use both CVS store coupons stacked with MC's for a killer deal on some vitamins? This has never happened to me before so I'm not sure if I am able to use duplicate store coupons in the same transaction.

Yes. There was a recent change in policy to allow this. Not all stores have caught on so if you cant convince the store, contact CS. They will back you up and contact the store on your behalf.

Does CVS "determine" what coupons will print with your CVS card based on products you buy or are the coupons just general for a certain period of time?? I feel like i rarely get CVS store coupons that are for products I actually have a need for. I keep getting the fragrance coupon and I've never bought fragrance from CVS.

I've never had any diaper coupons, tampons, makeup, etc. print. Does it depend on what day you scan your card??

I think some everyone gets, some are based on what you buy, and some are based on when you scan your card or some combination of factors.

The fragrance one is in the ad, so that one will print until either you use it or the week ends.

I have never bought diapers or wipes (although I have bought baby lotion...) and have never received a diaper or baby coupon. I always get the PF, Revlon, Almay, Biore, Nature Made, Centrum, etc. and those are things I have purchased on multiple occasions.

I also think sometimes buying a product will trigger a coupon for a different brand or CVS brand, kind of like cat machines at grocery stores do.

I actually get excited when I buy a new item, thinking I might have a surprise at the machine next time, .

I went again today and scanned twice recieving all the same coupons minus the $3.00/$15.00 Baby.

I had not shopped CVS in 2 years and 8 months before this scan on 5/10/12 Do Not remember what I bought last time I was there I think mine were just the generic that everyone seems to be getting.
