RIB Magazine
So I finally found them (yay me!!). I saw one left on the stand and bought it. I looked in it for the coupons and there wasn't any. Someone stole the coupons out of the magazine. I go to another store two blocks away and found a ton of them. I bought 10 of the magazines and rushed home to clip my q's. I noticed a few of my magazines had two coupon inserts in them. I bought 10 mags and have 16 coupon inserts. Is this normal or is this my lucky day?

Mine usually only have one insert! Congrats on your luck!!!!

Congrats! I finally found them at my store and there was 9 coupons and a Hallmark coupon and my CVS doesn't carry Hallmark cards

I can't link from my phone but there is a pic in the RIB thread. The thread is in the CVS Coupon Discussion sub forum. It is stickied at the top. It has all of the spring RIB info and a picture!

What it seems like to me based on what I have observed is that stores get an additional amount of the coupon inserts to distribute however the store chooses. Some stores just stuff extra inserts into each magazine offered for sale and some just leave a stack out for anyone to take. I am sure there are some unfriendly stores out there that never put them out or just throw them away.

I dont know how the stores get the extra inserts but I suspect that they come delivered in a display box with the magazines. I have seen the display boxes in a few stores around here and usually at the back of the boxis a stack of just the additional inserts. But that is just a guess.

They come in a bundle of 25 of mags and 25 extra inserts, tied up in yellow packaging plastic thingy. Sometimes the store gets one bundle, sometimes two, depending on the size of the store, I guess.

They can be stacked of it does not say manufacturer on top of the coupon.

I have seen on this site where people are stacking a RIB with a manufacturer but some of the RIB coupons are manufacturer. My CVS won't allow it and the register will beep if you try to use two manufacturer coupons. Some of the RIB coupon say CVS at the top of the coupon instead of manufacturer they can be stacked.
