| SavingStar How it works: Create an account, enter your store loyalty card numbers, choose the coupons you want and click "I want this!". Then, all you have to do is shop - rewards are given automatically, you don't have to do anything at the checkout, and may take a few days to post to your account. When your balance reaches $5 or more, you can choose a payout: PayPal, Amazon, plus more to come. SavingStar can be accessed via their website, or via mobile apps for Android and iPhone. The mobile apps will notify you whenever new coupons are added and usually these notifications are a bit earlier than the emailed ones. FAQ: 1. SavingStar "coupons" are not really coupons in that you get a discount at the register. They are more like a reward or bonus that you get for buying a certain product or combination of products. 2. Multiple store cards per account are accepted and most coupons are One Time Use per card. 3. Most coupons expire monthly, and do “sell out” so check often and add quickly! 4. SavingStar coupons can always be used in conjunction with any coupons or promotions at the checkout in-store. They will not affect your transactions at the register whatsoever - you will simply be accumulating rewards in your SavingStar account. 5. When adding stores to your account, if you do not see a store that you shop using your ZIP code, try a nearby ZIP code or the ZIP code of the area the store is in. You might find what you're looking for. 6. Unless otherwise noted, purchases need to be made in a single transaction if multiple items are required (i.e. $1 off 2). You register your CVS card number and then load coupons on your card. Then when you buy that item your account is credited. Once you reach $5 you can cash out. I get my cash outs sent to my PayPal account.

The site just gives you cash?! Does this work when you use coupons in a transaction? Or if you get that item for free? Is there an expiration on the selected coupons loaded?

Yup they just give you cash I think you can also send the money to a checking account. It doesn't matter if it's free or if you use coupons as long as it shows on your CVS receipt you'll get credited ![]() They do have expiration dates.

| It really just depends on when the coupons match up with CVS sales. Twice now in the last month I have bought something at CVS and within days a SS coupon came out for it so it can be frustrating when that happens!

that would be frustrating! It's too bad they do not have a 24-48 hour window.. that maybe you could add your sales receipt to the list to get the credit. Oh well-- free $$. Who can complain there??

I'm sort of new to saving star myself and I've earned $4 so far. Once I hit $5 do I have to cash out or can I just keep letting it add up? I'm more likely to spend it if I have access to it than if I just let it add up and do a cash out later. I know I'm not gonna have a lot of money but who knows....TIA

You don't have to pay attention to anything you're using in conjunction with Saving Star (store coupons, mfr coupons, miscellaneous discounts, rebates...). You just get the money for buying the stuff ![]() Also, check the list to see if any of your other stores are on it. One of the local grocery stores here is. They also have a mobile app (for Android at least) that's super easy to use and since new coupons are put out all the time I get a little notification for it and/or can check while I'm out if I forgot to check while I'm home. Love Saving Star |

I like to think of Savingstar coupons as sort of automatic rebates that will add up to get a gift card or money into your own account.

| Well, that's genius! If I can work this well, I could leave the SS and the coupons that I buy off my budget. I love that idea!

I love ss! I was hesitant to trust it but it is secure to your bank accounts too. Important to note that you hve to be aware of what coupons you redeemed off it if u plan with these. They will continue to show active until it passes th expiration date. I just find it an extra perk and review a few days a week to what items I may purchse
