I went to one CVS in town and they refused my internet coupon. I decided not to buy and tried another store. I gave my IP again and he accepted it, but advised me that in the near future they would no longer accept computer printed coupons.
Has anyone else heard of this? I think it's so strange with how technological we've become as a society.

Perhaps your stores are having problems with fraudulent IPs.
Managers for each store are given some leniency in imposing rules and yours may be overreacting to a problem they're presently having.

Banning the use of IPs, at all CVS, would be kinda silly since the CVS website itself offers IPs, LOL

There is a possibility it may happen BUT it may be confined ONLY in stores covered by a certain district, i.e, rules are set by the DM. If you have doubts about it, I suggest you call the DM and ask to verify the information. Do not be surprise if they confirm they will no longer take IPs by X date. Meantime, keep using legit IPs while they allow it.

However, just like WAGs, I don't see it happening for all stores. There are branches that have quit taking IPs and it is per district level, not a nationwide policy. When one contacts corporate, they are told that it is up to individual stores to decide if they will take IPs. I think CVS will also leave that to individual branches to decide on whether to take IPs or not.

I hope not to!! I would rather shop at CVS than Wal Greens. The clerks there do not have the Coupon Knowledge!! When I check out, the manager has to come check me out. Luckily, he is nice about it!!

Wow. If that really happens their only customers will be elderly people picking up Medicare scripts & $6 quarts of ice cream. Who would shop at CVS without ips when you can go a block in either direction to a Walmart or Target & pay 1/2 price plus use ips? Only my 2 grandmas.
