Today I found the Colgate max fresh double pack of toothbrushes on clearance for 1.87 (75% off). Typically clearance items do not produce ECB, but since the Thomas spinbrush did, I figured I would take a chance. Guess what? A 2.00 ECB printed! The UPC is 0 35000 89511 0. Didn't have any qs for this item, but I'll take free toothbrushes any day!

My store had these but were $3.74 I got it in order to reach $20 and they did produce the ecb

The most ridiculous pricing with this! I have two CVS literally across from each other in my neighborhood. I scanned one and it said 1.87 but i needed two to use my expiring ECB but they have only 1 so I went across the other CVS and found two available. Their scanner machine was broken but I doubled check the UPC code and they matched the other CVS's. So I went ahead and bought both and they scanned at 3.74! I ended up return one of them. So dumb.

I scanned every two pack, none on clearance.
And they were out of thomas toothbrushes.

I don't have the ad in front of me....but if I were to go in and get 1 Thomas spin brush and 1 of these, what ECB's would I get back? I know there is a limit of 2, so does this count as reaching the limit? Or are they 2 separate deals?

Today I found the 8oz Colgate. Shelf had 2.09 it rung up 1.09 at RM. had .50 q's got 3 that's all they had left. Got back 3 ECB

I'm not doing a good job keeping the Colgate ECB deals separate in my head. Which deal in the weekly ad does this 8-oz Colgate apply toward? I've already done the Buy 1 Colgate toothbrush twin or multi-pack, get $2 ECB. The only toothpaste deal I see in the ad is for the Colgate Total, 4-4.2 oz, MaxFresh or MaxClean 6 oz, or 2-in-1 4.6 oz. Is there an 8-oz variety also counting in one of these deals? And is this just regular Colgate toothpaste, or a certain Colgate product line?

Any clarification appreciated. It's been a busy few weeks for toothpaste and toothbrush deals!

These are two separate deals. The limit is two on each deal, so you would get back a 2.00 ECB for the spinbrush and a 2.00 ECB on the colgate. You would still be able to do the exact deal again. HTH!

Just a guess...did you buy 3 in one transaction? The tracking is never accurate for the trxn in which you made a qualifying purchase, unless the limit was reached--they do get that right. So if you bought 3 in one transaction, it means you need to make one more qualifying purchase in order to get another ECB.

Edited to add I did a search and saw that you did purchase 3. I believe the tps for this deal are on sale for 2.50 (so many sales I may be mixing them up so you may want to double check) so if you cant find anymore clearance you can still buy one fr 2.50, less any coupons you may have left, and get a $3 ECB.

Finally found them! Not marked and only 50% off for $3.99, but still a pretty good deal! I managed to snag them and some other free/money making items, use $4 off ecbs from the thomas toothbrush deal, and use my $4/$20 purchase to pay $0.02! Not too shabby :-)
