| Clariol Hydrience .99cents a box
Found Clariol Hydrience Hair Dye on clearance for .99cents each today. Original price is $9.99 Only found in two colors Blonde and Light Brown. These were found in the clearance section where my store always has all the clearance items. HTH. I have actually never heard of this particular kind by Clariol...but I figured for .99cents its worth a try. And to tell you truth I have it on my hair right now! hehe Let you know what I think once I'm done dying it.

Just got done dying my hair with this product. Not bad. It's a lil lighter than what I expected, but honestly no biggie. I don't ever expect too much when I'm doing it myself. So, for .99cents...I say go for it...can't beat that!

Was coming on to post this yesterday & saw you beat me to it. ;o) There were a good supply of these boxes on sale at the store I was at. They also had a large sign up with the name, colors & prices (original & sale). Like you said, it was with the other clearance items. There were also a number of other hair colorings at .69 a box .For you ladies who color your own hair; I have a question: I'm assuming that these are on sale cause they're going to phase them out, or they had extras or leftovers; either way, I don't think you will be seeing the same color again; once they're gone, I'm sure they won't get more or put them up again. So what happens if you like the color? If you can't get the same color again, what do you do? Forgive me; for 25 yrs I had been getting my hair professionally highlighted at the salon; moved to another state far, far away :o( & don't have any recommendations of a haircutter/colorer; was thinking of living dangerously & doing it myself. Sorry; don't mean to hijack your thread. ;o) Again, just wondering in general; when you buy haircolor super checap on clearance, I'm guessing you just get something close in color the following time? OP; thanks for letting us know it came out good & you were pleased with it!

Yeah for me...I maybe dye my hair like twice a year...and sometimes 1 of those times is professionally done. This time I dyed it... it was just to basically cover up some of the grays I have haha... ~ So I just stuck with the same shade as my hair, but it kinda came out a lil lighter then I would have liked...but all in all, you really can't tell much of a difference. HTH.

bigsumm22, Did your color have the conditioner in it? It would be worth 99cents for that. I love the conditioner. It runs $4ish by it's self. I would buy the color if it was the wrong color, take the conditioner out and then givethe color away. Forevergrateful, I have colored for over 20 years. Mostly doing it myself. I am afraid if you are used to professional coloring you might be disapointed with do it yourself. I can tell a big difference when I bite the bullet and pay for professional coloring. Do it yourself fades quicker on gray. |

I'm not sure exactly what kind of conditioner you are referring for. All it had was the treatment conditioner that you are suppose to use once a week for like 5 weeks after your color your hair. Seems like the same thing that is always in the box color kits. The only thing I seen that was a lil different was there was a small sample package sized Pantene pre-treatment stuff that you are suppose to put on your hair before you even color it...it's like a cream that you just leave on your hair even while coloring your hair. I hope that's enough info...so IDK. I wish I could give you more information, but I have already thrown the box away! Sorry

I have dyed my hair for years. Then stopped and went gray. Had nice gray hair in a cute trendy cut. Then my daughter got pregnant, abandoned by her boyfriend, and moved back in with us. She was so stressed out and I spoiled her. She begged me to dye my hair so I did. The boyfriend came back after the baby came, they are together, and she isn't around to color me. so NO MORE!!! I am growing my hair long, letting it go gray, and keeping it curled nice. I saw a lady at the mammogram clinic who was older but had long, gray hair which was gorgeous. I CAN be a sexy, long haired 51 year old!!! Enjoy your hair color. |

Bigsumm22, Yes I was talking about the treatment conditioner. It is in some brands but not all. I really like it. I have started buying color at Sally's because it doesn't fade as quickly and still use this conditioner when I get it for free or cheap. Thanks |
