| CVS Coupon Newbie
I am so overwhelmed with trying to plan my own CVS trips. One of these days I'm going to get it... Wish so much that I knew other couponers in my area so that I could be "guided" through my first couple of trips. Today I went and purchased $30 worth of the PF items, but I didn't have the $1/1 coupons. Even though I saved a lot, I can't help but be a little envious of those amazing hauls that I've been viewing. Are there any suggestions about easing myself into CVS shopping? I understand ECBs and such -- I just have a hard time arranging the trip and finding the excellent deals. By the time they're posted on here it's too late for me to plan anything.

Don't beat yourself, I've been doing this for about 9 months now, and although it's easier, it's still a lot of work and a lot of time to be able to figure out my transactions. Just keep reading everything on here, everyone here is so nice, and so helpful, ask as many questions as you need, and with time, you'll start getting the hang of it its a lot of work, but I have a lot of fun doing it.

TY! I took advantage of the PF deal yesterday; and when I left work this morning, I stopped by CVS to grab the Nivea deal. Maybe if I start out doing one deal per trip...

I would suggest sticking to the Free/Cheap items every week until you get into it. That will prevent you from overspending. If you don't have the coupons feel free to skip the deal - that's the hardest thing to learn about couponing IMO - skipping a deal is hard but if you go after every one you'll get burned out, angry, or go nuts .You can always find the Free/Cheap items in the first post of all the weekly deal threads stickied in the main part of the CVS forum

You will get the hang of it in no time. I've been shopping at CVS back when it was People's Drug Store. I'm still pretty new to this and have only done a few deals and even then I didn't get a lot of items. I definitely stick to the free or cheap stuff. ![]() I also haven't come up with my own transactions yet. It can be overwhelming. If I have the same Q's as everyone else I copy what is posted in the Scenario thread.
