| Refund q
I read the refund thread but I just want to make sure I can do this. Yesterday I bought 3 hair colors for my mom and they were the wrong kind They rang in $9.99 even though they were on sale for 4.99. But instead of adjusting them my cashier just rang in 2 cvs qs that equaled the difference. I've never seen this done before. So now I'm worried its going to look shady when I return them. Or she will get in trouble. I've never done a return before and I dont want to burn myself or cvs. Help!

Are you going to return them or exchange them? What she did was shady - not sure why she didn't just price adjust the items? If you return the items you'll get the value of the "coupons" on a cash card - which isn't really right since technically there were no coupons presented and that money wasn't paid. I think even if you do an exchange you'll run into issues unless the ones you're exchanging them with are $9.99, too. I would probably try to exchange them for 3 hair colors that are $9.99 each so it should all even out.

I'd rather just return them. They didn't have the right kind. Do u think they would just give me my$15 back on a gc if I told them what happened?

| No, they'll give you $30 if you return them. Since she did them at $9.99 and took off "$5 coupons" you'll get the "coupons" back on a gift card, too.
