Why hasn't my Beauty Club total updated?

I made several purchases Wednesday that I am 100% positive should've counted toward my beauty club totals & it's now Saturday & my total hasn't updated. The purchases should have also triggered a $5 Beauty Club ECB. No go. I don't even think my Spring spending updated to reflect those purchases. Worst part is I threw the receipt away. What do I do now?

Same thing happened to me yesterday I called cs they told me there is a 2 day delay in things posting to beauty club.

This was a problem for me in the past month or so. CS finally fixed it for me. If it has been longer than 2 days call them.

I thought beauty club could be up to a 5 day delay. If you bought the items Wed that is only 2 days ago. I would expect it to update by next Wednesday at the latest (I am not counting Sat and Sun as updating days). I have also had the quarterly spending take more than 2 days to update, even though they say 2 days for that. I usually dont watch it that closely but it was the month that we were having the contest.

CVS can pull up every single purchase youve ever made, so I dont see what not having your receipts would do with anything.

It could take longer than 2 days..and they do say up to 5 days...it also matters the hour you buy it...for example, I made purchases at 9:00PM, and it actually took 3 days to update. So it varies. I keep track with pen and paper and put what i bought plus the date and time, and I also log into my CVS account every morning to keep an eye on it. HTH

I'd call back and talk to someone else. They were super nice to me the lady offered to go over my account and everything. I told her no I'd just call back if it didn't update soon.

I would try my luck with another CS agent. I have also received emails when I am less than $10 away from BC and I havent made a BC purchase in awhile (week to 10 days). I might try via email, it will take longer but one they have emailed you back you should be able to forward the BC email that you received. Then they can either trace that or let you know for certain that they are fraudulent and hopefully you will let us know too. If they are fraudulent then their system has been hacked because, like yours, mine always match up with what I have kept track of. And then they should thank you for bringing it to their attention.


It always irks me when a rep of a large company claims that some particular thing would never/ has never happened. Really you know every single thing the company has ever done? It is a ridiculous claim!

Those emails, when they come, are most of the times late. When I got one the last time, it had my balance as needing like 10.00, but I had already gotten the 10.00, so when I got the e-mail, it was in fact not correst. That might be the case with why you thought you were only $6.08 away, when in fact you had already gotten that 5 ECB, cuz like I said I watch all my numbers everyday, and as soon as I got that e-mail, I knew it was wrong. So maybe that was it...

I should add to this that the card that didn't update (my boyfriend's), had not updated in about a week and a half. He also let them know this was not the first time it didn't update. The first time the CS person found and updated the BC on the phone. This time the CS lady had "investigated" the account after hanging up the phone and he received a $15 Beauty Buck within the following week.

My card never has an update problem.

I am in the same boat. My beauty club total has not updated even though I did several transactions on Wednesday morning 5/16. Did some more shopping today and I noticed on my receipt it still says totals as of 5/13. Calling Monday, too.

I wonder if it has something to do with all of us purchasing Pantene (beauty products) that the system is overloaded. I know personally that I have been to CVS at least 2 times everyday this past week. I just learn to be patient and hope that it will caught up. It's icing on the cake when it does come out of the red machine. Love CVS.

It might when I called cs I asked first if pantene was part of bc and she said definitely. But it was tone in her voice like I wasn't the first one to call about it.

Note to self: keep track of BC spending. I never do!

OP, I used to keep track and once had the same as Amy, got the email the day after I made purchases that put me over the $50. Let us know what happens when you call back!

BC has been so fickle this year. We usually say 48 hours but it's been taking a solid 5 days for it to update sometimes. Don't know what's going on with that.

My totals just updated. However my new $5 ECB isn't showing in my account yet. Just the previous one that says "redeemed." Hopefully that will correct itself.

I pulled up my acct and it's showing two also.better hurry up and use them before they change their mind
