Forgive me if this is posted somewhere; I didn't see it. I was told you get .50 in ECBs for each RX you fill. I filled 2 for DH the other day and used the card, and expected to see it print on there but didn't. Does it go toward your quarterly ECB's? TIA for any help! |

Not sure about the specifics, but I do know you get ECBs for prescription refill. Don't know the amount. You will not get the ECBs until after the end of the quarter, which ends in December. So, the quarterly spending rewards will print in January.

Actually, the deal is $1 for every 2 prescriptions you fill. It *sounds* the same as $0.50 each, however if you only fill 1 prescription during the quarter, you get nothing. You *must* fill 2 in order to get $1.00. And if you fill 3, you still only get $1.00 - you have to fill 4 to get $2.00. And it is added onto your quarterly ecbs (the 2% that you get back for your actual OOP spending) - so you get it all as 1 lump sum when quarterly ecb time rolls around. And I believe there are a couple of states where you do NOT get ecbs for prescriptions, due to some specific laws in those states (I think maybe the same ones that are prohibitted on the prescription transfer coupons? Like NJ? Not completely sure on that one).

I think you are also right on the fact that some states don't get the ECS's. I just moved from NJ a few months ago to TX, and we didn't use CVS there; but I do know they didn't have the CVS perscription transfer coupons there. It was so strange, cause CVS & Wags in NJ said you couldn't do it in NJ; yet Rite Aid, Target & Wegmens all had the GC promotion for RX transfers (the only thing in NJ was you had to be 60 or older). Thanks again for your reply & the info! (I guess I will keep track of the amounts -- if I remember! ;o) Doing accounting & bookkeeping for a living, I am stupid that way; that I keep track of things like that. ;o) |
