| I lost my CVS card - please advise!
I lost my CVS extra care card and I called corporate for a replacement and they said they don't have my info on file, so they can't send a replacement. This card is from an old address I probably activated back in 1997 (I've moved several times and never updated my info, maybe they lost my info or didn't keep it on file because it's been so long.) I have $20 in extra bucks attached to this card, which I can't use, because they said I need to attach an account to the extra bucks I use for a transaction at the store. Please advise. I don't want to lose the $20 in extra bucks. Thank you!

I would call corporate again, and nicely explain that you realize you should have updated your account info, but point out that you HAVE been a loyal customer to them, and if they could assist in any way, you would greatly appreciate it. The $20 isn't a big deal to them, in the scheme of things, especially in comparison to what they would lose if they were to lose your business. Tell them you are willing to turn in/give up your ECB so that they know you aren't just trying to get an extra $20 off of them. And if that doesn't work, beg, plead and cry until they give you what you want. ;o) Hope you get this straightened out!!

Do you remember the phone number attached to the card? You can always use that until the ecbs are spent.

Thank you all!!! I tried giving my phone number, but they didn't have it on file either (I use my cell only now, I don't even have a home phone #), I just had the card in my wallet from so long ago, I'm surprised they don't have it on file. It's like you have so much stuff to transfer when you move, I just didn't remember to update this. Thank you all for your suggestions!!! I really appreciate your help!!!

the ECBs have your name and last 4 digits of number maybe local store can help you...issue new card, swap ECBs for new attached to new card

That's a good idea brook6, I'm going to try that tomorrow and see how that works out, swapping for a new card. You'd think they'd do anything for the customer! Thank you, I will let you all know how it works out! Thank you all for being so helpful!

I thought I had lost mine and so I got online and printed out my card info, but when I got to the store they just asked for my phone number. It doesnt matter if its an active phone number just the number you signed up with. Anyway, I called and gave them my card number and asked if they could just send me another one with the same number and they did, but I found mine so atleast i have an extra one.

Did you have it registered with UPROMISE? u get the number; you create a new barcode and tape it on a different card. It scans and works like a charm. I had to do it...... |
