just a quick question.. if an item is BOGO free can you just purchase one and get it half off or do you have to buy 2?

Also, if you do buy 2 can you use 2 man q - one for each one? TIA

You have to buy two items to get the bogo deal, but you can use 2 q's on a bogo deal!

ok thanks! i appreciate it! i was trying to decide whether or not to do the Purex 3-in-1 deal this week because at my store they are 8.99 BOGO.. but I have 2 q's for $1 each so I am deciding if 6.99 for 2 is a good deal or if I should hold out.. thanks!

I posted this in the free/cheap thread:

I'd use the $5/$25 CVS flu quiz printable coupon to my advantage. I'd buy the two Purex for $8.99. I'd also buy the Colgate that's free after coupon/ECB and the Tone that's free after coupon/ECB. At that point, I'd have $13.86 toward the needed $25 to be able to use the $5/$25 coupon. Then I would buy 3 of the Revlon nail polish for $3.99 each and I would use 3 of the $1 off Revlon Color Cosmetics coupons. My subtotal would be $25.83.

- $5/$25
- $1 (Purex)
- $1 (Purex)
- $1 (Colgate)
- $1 (Tone)
- $1 (Revlon)
- $1 (Revlon)
- $1 (Revlon)

Total oop $13.83 Earn $1 ECB, $2 ECB, $9 ECB

Basically, I'd end up paying $1.83 for everything.

Of course it would require a much larger cash out of pocket expense up front than just buying the 2 Purex detergents would, but you'd end up with $12 in ECBs for your next deals.
