I AM SO MAD!

A few weeks ago, I went to CVS to buy some things with a bunch of ECBs and coupons. The manager of the store had to do a bunch of manual key entering and other things that I wasn't really paying attention to. I am sure I gave him the same extra care card that I use at every other CVS (I only have one).

TODAY, I look at my ECBs that printed out from that transaction, and the last four digits of the card ..... ARE NOT MINE. So I'm going to guess that when I get to the store, it's going to beep "not for card" and I'm going to be screwed.

WHAT DO I DO ABOUT THIS?! I have $17 in unused ECBs that expire october 3rd... AHH

Explain the situation when you attempt to use those ECBs. I had a manager override a transaction and the ECBs that printed had his name on them. When I went to use them, they called the store and it all worked out. Sometimes, when there are a lot of manual key-ins the ECBs print with the last digit(s) of your card cut off...you could check to see if the digits match a different order of your card.

I had this happen a few weeks ago ... the numbers didnt seem to match at all but for some reason, when i went to USE them, they went thru fine... I saved my receipt to show that i did indeed BUY the product from the ECB, but never needed to ... I think (not sure) that they were mostly the same 4 numbers but in a different order? Not sure... but anyways, it worked just fine for me (and my mom -- i was using both cards, and the same thing happened to both of them).

It's your #s but just 1 # off. Take a look at your card, for example, if your card # is 1234567890 your ECBs will usually print 7890, it would be 6789 for the force printed ECBs. I had this issue before, ECBs worked fine. I actually went in right after and they printed again, same #s and then we figured it out. Others have posted here as well.

The same thing has happened to me!! I was going to go see the Young sweet girl I always deal with but her new baby decided it was time to arrive so now she's gone for WEEKS!!!! O GOD what am I going to do without her!!! LOL
