Prescription Transfers

Ok has anyone else ever had issues with using a Rite Aid coupon for a transfer prescription. My store denied me once, said thye dont take competitors qs. I called CS and of course they do. Now i have a script for me and one for my husband [[different last names too]], both were transfers and I had 2 coupons. They only let me use one. Said that was their rule. Anyone else have these issues?

Yes, they would not let me use one, because they said it was a new PX not a transfer!

I used 2 once at the same time with no problem, (but I actually had transferred 4 perscriptions, they said they would only accept 2). But they told me I could have used the other 2--if "they didn't know about it"--so I probably could have done 4 transactions I'm guessing

Never had an issue. Have used the Rite Aid coupons about 6-8 times at CVS over the past 8 months and always first time Rx's, with no issue. Getting those and a $10 off $50 purchase always makes for a better couponing week here.

I had a problem...

a few years back when they started them, when you could print them out on the computer. I reported the pharmacist to CVS headquarters. I do not see him there anymore. He called me a few times on the phone, and I never answered him. Not sure what happened to him. He was a total idiot, told me my coupon was copied when I only print B&W, and it was a valid coupon. So I complained to CVS at cvs.com, and stopped using CVS for like 2 years. Just recently got back into CVS buying my stuff for free. They seem more relaxed on the coupons than they were before here at least.

my CVS told me that they wouldn't take the Rite Aid transfer coupon because they were affiliated with Rite Aid. I looked at the lady and told here that there was NO WAY they were affiliated and that if i drove down the road to the other CVS they would take my coupon. She STILL wouldn't take the coupon.

Thanks all! Last time I had an issue, I called corp and they are all supposed to take them. They have a sign and everything at the register. I went back today and got the other script used a q no problem. Just wouldnt let me use 2 at a time. Maybe I will call and complain anyways.

CVS Rx Transfer Problems

I have had multiple problems with transferring Rx's and using Giftcard coupons. It seems like they will go to any length to deny you getting one. One lady actually took several minutes searching through old Rx records to make sure I had never had one filled. Interestingly enough when I called to check my balance, it said balance was $0 and my account was closed. I am not sure If I used it all up or not, but I don't think I did and none of the other cards said account closed. I really want to call CS and complain, but I get my Rx's there and put up with the crap anyways b/c it's closer. Sigh.
