Hello everyone! I've been ready so many posts and I had a few questions. 1. How do I use my ECB? It says they print it out every 3 months, but the only ECB related details on my receipts just says how much I have. Is that THE receipt to use, or can I use ECB anytime I want and just tell them? 2. How are you able to stack coupons? I look at the posts and a lot of them lists different coupons that can be used for one item. Mostly all of my coupons say, "Limit one per purchase." Does that mean I can only have 1 coupon used on an item? Or, for example, I have a $3 off any Clean&Clear Kit and $1 off any C&C item, does the "Limit one per purchase" mean I can only use ONE $3off coupon and not TWO? Which means I can use ONE $3 and ONE $1 off q? Please help! |

| Hi xdiamond_ie! First of all, you have weekly ECB deals which will print on the very bottom of your receipt when you purchase the product with ECB. The every 3 months ECB you are referring to is your quarterly ECB earning of 2% on your total purchase (out of pocket) for that quarter. ECB expires a month from the day you received it. Some stores accept expired Extra Bucks so I suggest calling your stores to find out if they accept it. And yes, you can use the extra bucks anytime within the expiration date. The best thing to do is to roll your ECB week to week. "Limit one per Purchase" simply means limit one coupon used per item. This term prohibits people from using two manufacturer coupon on the same product. This term does not prevent you from using a store coupon on top of the manufacturer coupon (aka stacking). You stack coupons by using a store coupon with a manufacturer coupon. Since you are inquiring about CVS then the best way to stack coupons is to use either a $3 off $15, $4 off $20, $5 off $30 (on your purchase) with your manufacturer coupons. When using the $/$$ coupon, always give that to your cashier FIRST and then hand them your manufacturer coupons. There are other CVS coupons that can be found in their Beauty Magazines, Store, or the Red machine where you scan your CVS card. And yes, you can use those $ off product along with the $3 off $15, $4 off $20... store coupons. You cannot use 2 $/$$ coupons HTH (Hope this helps)

Very nice explainations, helenpooh. ![]() Just to add a bit on the quarterly spending ECB since that is about to print and there are always questions about that one: One thing to note about the 2% back. Many folks think that they will actually receive 2% of their out of pocket spending back but it doesn't work that way. CVS pays out in increments of $.50 which are rounded down. So, if your spending is $0 to $24.99, you will receive $0. If your spending is $25 - $49.99, you will receive $.50 If your spending is $50 - $74.99, you will receive $1.00 If your spening is $75 - $99.99, you will receive $1.50 And so forth. You aren't going to get rich. ![]() Your Quarterly ECB will also include the ECBs you earned from your prescriptions at the CVS pharmacy. You earn $1 for every 2 prescriptions filled during the quarter and that will be added to the amount that you receive for your spending. |
