ok I'll admit I have never shopped and CVS unless it was getting a perscription filled. but after finding AFC and seeing all the good deals you guys are getting I'm intrigued!!!

one question can I combine a manuQ with a store Q (like ones in their sale papers) if so I'm gonna start checking out the CVS sale paper a little better than just scanning over it LOL

yes you can use one manu q and one store q per item at cvs. and you can use as many ecbs as you want to cover the remaining oop but just remember that you will not get change back from ecbs

Welcome to the wonderful world of CVS shopping.

The "coupons" that you see in the CVS sales ads aren't really coupons. They're just kinda pretend coupons that CVS uses to make you think that you're getting a really good deal on an item -- like a "coupon" deal.

There are actual CVS coupons that you will sometimes find for products. An example of those can be found at cvs.com. If you visit the site and click on "in-store coupons. Start printing now" The coupons that appear on page 1 will be CVS coupons. You'll be able to tell that by looking at the barcode should you print any of the coupons -- the barcode will begin with "4". Manufacturer's coupons have a barcode that begin with a "5" or a "9". You can use a manufacturer's coupon with a CVS coupon should you happen to find a CVS coupon for a product that also has a manufacturer's coupon.


Check the free/cheap thread in the stickied section and the CVS shopping list for the other coupon matchups for the weekly sales ad. We usually list the good deals for you and try to put together some decent scenarios for folks.
