I found a bunch of the .99 J&J kits today and I had my coupons with me. She would only let me use 1 coupon (I need to clarify I had my rain check with me as well) she said that she can't isn't allowed to adjust a coupon down. I have no idea if this is the case so I left without my .99 kits. I will go back tomorrow with proof if you call help me out?

According to the written policy that they sent to me (you can find it here: http://www.afullcup.com/forums/cvs-1...retion-qs.html) they can adjust the coupon down. That being said all coupons are accepted by a manager's "discretion". What does that mean for you? Yes, they should adjust it down, but they don't actually have to if the manager says no. I would speak to the manager, perhaps the cashier is misinformed. You can also email CVS C/S from their website and get a written policy (like the one in the link) emailed to you, print it and carry it with you. It helps me out a lot. hth

I have trouble getting some cashiers to adjust my coupons. You would think I was asking them to run a 25 mile marathon. The $1 coupons will scan. However, say you get 10 kits... the last one will beep and the screen will say something along the lines of exceeds maximum redemmable amount of 90 cents. Then you have to coax them into punching in 90 cents so that everything will be even. HTH!!

Thanks all! I went to my reg CVS and they had the kits too. My fav cashier had no trouble doing it all. I even forgot my raincheck. Worked out in the end!

that has happened to me as well. i had tons of the 1.00 of qs at one time. and at this cvs all they had was the kids soap. well i wipped them out like 5 diff times. the manager was standoffish at first. but the cashier knew the drill and she pushed it threw. the manager even asked my why in the world i wanted or need so much soap. i looked him in the eye and said what is it to you? your store is making money plus! did u ever think i am making boxes to give to shelters and needy ppl? but after that he knew me and handled me personally when i went in for things that they advertized but never carried and he begain giving me great deals!
