Has anyone had this happen at Cub?

I purchased the Hormel Country Style Ribs with the in ad B1G1 coupon last night and had 2 $1.50 Q's for Hormel Always Tender Pork products. She scanned the B1G1 coupon and then the $1.50 q's and the second one beeped at her. She told me that since it was a B1G1 coupon I could only use 1 of my q's.

I have used the B1G1's plus 2 q's many times at Cub. In fact I did the very same thing with the L'Oreal product last night.

Should I have lined up the coupons differently?

Let me know if anyone has experienced this before.

I always give them my manufacturer coupons first and I have never had a problem before. HTH

I had this happen today with the L'oreal deal. Did we have the same cashier?

I didn't have much of a choice with cashiers - I knew this one will scan coupons carefully, but usually she gives them to me. Sigh. Well, I can always try again since I have more coupons! It wasn't a bad deal at $1.12 each, but I wanted them for .75 each!

Plus, I didn't have time to argue as my 4 year old was getting VERY antsy and I had to pick up my 7 year old from his class.

I really appreciate the tip about giving the manufacturer's coupons first! However, with this cashier it wouldn't have mattered. She sorts everything first and puts them in piles of Cub qs and manufacturer qs.

I've done deals like this dozens of times with no beeping~
