| My letter to SuperValu(The owners of Cub Foods)
To whom it may concern, I live in Minnesota and over the past few years have barely done any shopping Cub Foods because it is easier to get better deals at Rainbow Foods on double coupon days. The one thing that kept me shopping at Cub Foods at all was that Cub accepted 3 month expired manufacturers coupons and now that is over so I find myself wondering how much I will actually shop at Cub at all? I'm by no means saying I will stop shopping at Cub Foods altogether. When there is a good deal to be had I will still go to Cub Foods and buy 1 or 2 items every few weeks but I will still spend the vast majority of my grocery budget at Rainbow and Target because the deals at those stores are more plentiful. I find it "interesting" that SuperValu which is based out of Minnesota owns Albertsons which doubles coupons but yet here in Minnesota there is no Albersons and we get stuck with Cub Foods which doesn't double and has for the most part ridiculously priced items in comparison to other stores. Frankly it makes me believe that SuperValu doesn't care about the customers from their home state. I just wanted to let you know the reasons I have barely shopped at Cub Foods the past few years and why I will be shopping there even less in the future. Sincerely, A Loyal Rainbow Foods deal getter! I sent this email via: https://www.supervalu.com/sv-webapp/contact/contact.jsp I encourage everyone to send their own letters but to do it in your own words! I personally love shopping at cub foods. The coupon policy change is a bummer but what other store accepts expired coupons? What a treat. I would rather shop at cub where it is clean, organized and great customer service than any other store to save a few cents. Just my opinion |

Well written email. Hopefully the right person sees it. I agree about Cub slimming down their deals. It stinks. A few years ago it wasn't uncommon to see $10 ONYO's wyb $20 worth of products. Lots of free stuff!! I'm from Stillwater where Cub was born, so maybe I'm bias. ![]() Closest Rainbow to me is in Oakdale and it is pretty gross in there. I would never buy produce or meat from that location. I'd rather pay a few extra bucks and shop at a clean Cub Foods. Just my opinion.
