I've been using RR's at Cub in Blaine consistenly for the last few months. Today I was told they just signed a policy (which they showed me although I did not read it) that says they cannot take catalinas printed at another store

I just traded for them! I hope this does not spread across other Cubs that were taking them. I will try to spend them in whatever at another store before they change their minds too! Have you encountered this problem?

I used 3 exp RR's, 1 Free Milk Cat & 1 Free Egg Cat(both from Rainbow)on Monday night at the FL store.
I have more exp egg cats that I better be able to still use there. That will really suck if they if they do quit taking Cat's from other stores.

I also read that some RR's now have that awful word ONLY on them

I can see not taking the ones that are from manufactures that they don't sell any of their products because they wouldn't get reimbursed for them but if that's the reason that they're going to give for not taking them, it should be fairly easy to just program the registers to show something like 'Do not accept this coupon, we sell no products from this mfr'

I hope that is not the case. I might go in and grab a few gift cards with them to use them up, but I let all of my Rainbow ones expired for free milk and eggs

I will be going this morning and see what happens. As far as I can see Cub will be shooting themselves in the foot if they don't take them as I have SWM right across the street and they now take them with no problem and don't adjust the q's for nice overages.

I had Cambridge take one no problem this morning. It did not say "ONLY" at Wags on it. I've heard there are some with the "ONLY" verbage now. Maybe that's the issue?

Went and did my shopping at Cambridge yesterday and used 76.00 worth. Got 363.68 for 4.83 after q's and rr's.

UPDATE: I used them at Crystal on Friday. Cashier said "we cannot take those anymore, manager told me if I do take them, I would get fired". I told him I would not buy anything then but went to customer service and the young guy was so nice. He said "I think we take them", but "I think" did not work for me and asked to speak with a manager. This guy came over and looked at it and said "we cannot take them; they are for Walgreens". I then asked when they changed that. He said "we did not change anything we just never took them nor we will". I then explained to him that I've used them there many times. You know, one thing is to tell me they changed their policy, like my regular cub told me, but don't lie to me saying you never took them before. After a while of going back and forth, he said he was going to check with his assistant manager and she came and said "yep, we take those", we do it all the time. Then he was embarrased and said "sorry ma'mam". then to the asssistant manager "you better train ALL the cashiers then" she said "they all know". Then him "no, she was denied by one".... she asked by who, I told him the guy from #5; she then said to mgr. "he should have asked another cashier, they all know". then me: "yes, he asked the guy in #6 who confirmed that I could not use them" .... it was kind of funny after all. They gave me 15% of total purchase of any of the Cub brands coupon to use any time for the rest of this month as an apology for the misunderstanding. I went back and grabbed my items.
I apologize this one was too long!
Since then, many more RR's expired on me, now I know my RR's are still welcome there.

I just tried one of my $3 RR at the cubs self checkout and it went through fine! I'm super excited I can start doing that with my extra RRs in the future!

I didnt realize my RR expired on Sat. : ( I usually keep better track of them.

So you can use the coupons that print out at Walgreens and say "redeemable at Walgreens" for purchases at those Cub locations? I'm assuming that the expiration date holds true then? I've got $20 in RR that would be awesome to use at Cub.

As long as the RR do not state: "Redeemable ONLY at Walgreen's", you can use it like cash at Cub Foods as long as it is not more than 3 months old--YMMV depending on Cub Store policy, though.

I have never had a problem with Coon Rapids Cub at Hansen. I work across the street so it's convenient. I have always had issues with Cub at Northtown. Cub in New Brighton on Silver Lake & Rice Creek is 50/50. Cub in Coon Rapids (or is it Andover) at Riverdale usually is a go. Have only had a couple of incidents where they refused. HTH.

Do they let you use more than one at a time? I've got $25 worth now, spread out over 7-8 RR's.
