Cub has a BOGO q in this Sunday's(10/25) ad for Wholly Guac or Salsa. There is also a BOGO q in the SS(10/25) insert this Sunday. Free Guac and Salsa.

I have never tried this brand is it any good? Do you think they can be freezed? My one early addition paper had 7 SS inserts in it.

My early Star Trib had one insert. Not sure if it was Smartsource or Red Plum. I didn't get the Guac coupon. (We like this brand when we don't make our own.)

My husband and I buy Wholly Guac. on a regular basis. It's pretty good. I prefer to eat it if it is mixed in something else...like Seven Layer Dip. It CAN be frozen. The box in my fridge which my husband bought today has a 'use or freeze by date' of Nov 14 2009. HTH!

The salsa has a nice kick, smooth texture. Reminds me of the type you would get at a Mexican restaurant.

The guac.. not so good.... I like to make my own, very simple (mash avocado, add tomato, green onion and some garlic) with a bit of texture. This package kind is too smooth and the spice flavoring is "off" to me. Not a good deal when I chucked most of it in the garbage.

Sniffle sniffle, I snagged the very last newspaper at SA. It only had one red plum insert, the SS must have better coupons because I was not impressed with the red plum.

No wonder I didn't get any inserts in mine or in any I checked in this entire town. you got them all. LOL Good luck for you, but wish it was me.

I do like the salsa and have frozen it. When it thaws I did notice that it has more liquid in it so I just drained some of the liquid and it was fine. DH likes the guaq on tacos.

You both crack me up. The funny thing is I would have prefered the extra Red Plum this week. Last week I got 3 extra Red Plum in one of my early editions to. Which I would have prefered having the SS. I guess beggars can not be choosy right. If it helps I usually buy my early addition papers at Cub. I also always check to make sure my coupon inserts are in the paper before I buy it. I have learned the hard way by buying and then not having any coupons in the paper.

I tried this deal today and the cashier said I couldn't use both Cub coupon and the SS one. Did I do something wrong or was she incorrect?

I'm new to this and would appreciate any insight.

You may have problems using a BOGO MF coupon with a BOGO store coupon. Depends on your cashier, time of day, color of sky and if the moon is full! I they are all aligned just right it should work!

Thanks rach! Glad to know it wasn't just me. I wonder if I handed her the Cub coupon after the SS coupon if that would have made a difference or not. I guess I'll try again with another cashier later this week

I tried twice this morning. One cashier pushed it though w/o saying anything, but the other one said I couldn't stack up BOGO qs and called two other workers, who knew nothing for sure. I gave up getting those two salsa, but I'm sure I'll go back again later this week. better be careful choosing the right cashier!

I was so excited to see these two coupons! What a great deal.

I love the spicy guac. It is fantastic.

My cashier did not let me use both BYGOF coupons together. I even ordered them manufactures then Cub. She was like "wait - you want to get both these for free. Not going to do that. we don't give away food."

I went to CS and kindly asked for the policy. They indeed did say that I should have been able to use both. I got $3 cash back from CS!

The cashiers sometimes forget that Cub gets reimbursed for those man q's. It's not like they're giving it away personally... They ARE getting paid!

I'm hoping I can use all my q's this week, lots of trips of just guac/salsa!
