The EP Cub puts their clearance items up front near the cash register in shopping carts.

Sometimes I catch these deals sometimes I don't. When I do I pretty much get everything for free after coupons.

I was wondering if anyone knows the schedule of when they put these items up at the front of the store (what day of the month or day of the week)?

If anyone knows this information it would be valuable to all of us.

Coon Rapids Cub has clearance near the end of the cleaning aisle toward the bakery, and sometimes in carts. CR Cub rarely has good clearance.

Champlin Cub has clearance in the far back corner of the store, by the pop. Very good clearance here.

No idea on schedules.

Elk River clearance is by the pharmacy(on rack), seems like carts are usually set out mid morning, or late evening. I have seen customer service people with carts back behind counter during slow times marking stuff. I think it goes out after they have had time to mark it. Can usually find clearance carts near entrance, on the way to produce, or near check out lanes if it is in carts. If it doesn't sell in carts, I think it is moved to shelves.

Buffalo Cub--Clearance in the first aisle after freezer section and in the area by Fem hygiene products and by the pharmacy.

New Brighton Cub (another smaller takeover Cub, like Champlin) has their clearance in the laundry/cleaning aisle. Pretty good clearance here! I love this store. Slightly smaller selection but less people.

I don't think I have ever gotten any clearance deals at the EP cub. I would like to know the answer to this too!

I have found the clearance deals at Chan. in the back of the store between the two coolers on the back wall. There has been a rack at the doors that leads to the stock area. HTH

Monticello- All the way in the back corner right after the soda aisle. I have found clearanced diapers, kids plateware and brownie mix among other things. Lately they have had suncreen and Loreal color-safe shampoo and conditioners.

Right now if you have $4 off of gillette fusion razors, they have them clearanced for $5. The pwer ones. I got 3 of them and then got my free gillette shampoo and free gillette body washes! I LOVE clearance. can we get a thread just for what we find on clearance?

Ongoing thread of Cub clearance finds would be a great idea!

St Anthony clearance is next to the napkin/ tissue, across the aisle is the toilet paper. They use the shelving, sometimes add carts or an extra freestanding plastic shelf unit. The end cap usually has vitamins or other odd products like protein bars.

I've started taking my binder and expireds with me every time I shop instead of just pulling coupons for the sales. I've missed out on good clearance deals when I thought "oh I'll come back later" and my busy family schedule didn't get a chance to shop again that week.

Shakopee is usually in carts along the back wall, just past the dairy section.

Fridley Cub has clearance in an aisle back by pop - they usually are very poky about marking stuff down BUT I've gotten medicine, makeup and candles free or very cheap after coupons, so I always check.

Rosemount Cub has clearance on racks and sometimes in carts along the back of the store by the pop and paper products and all the way across the back aisle of the store on racks. Usually everything is marked! HTH someone!

I've found clearance at Shakopee in carts in the back aisle, where the TP and napkins and oher paper products are. I've also found clearance on the endcaps that face the pharmacy and the encaps that face the "diaper wall".

Elk River is rearranging things right now, and there are racks and racks of clearance stuff everywhere right now. At least 8 throughout the store as of yesterday. HTH

shakopee cub has clearance in grocery carts thru out the store...mainly along the outer aisles...

At Buffalo Cub I frequently get boxed cereal for $1, sometimes $.50 or even FREE with qs, mostly expireds, as they take 'em up to 3 months. As for a set markdown or clearance schedule - really it's all due to stocking, seasonal or repackaging (in my opinion). The cereal I've gotten has like an opened lid that was re-taped or slight imperfections on the box, but no damage to the bag/cereal itself. I get lots of Kellogg's Frosted Mini Wheats - DH eats nearly every morning, Lucky Charms, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Cheerios, etc from clearance with qs.
My advice: bring your qs (& expireds) and check the clearance in your store EVERY visit
